It's preordained. Even if the Knicks have the 7th worst record, they are still getting Donic.

I have been pessimistic over the last 6 weeks about something getting done......But now maybe....maybe something might just happen .

Who is eating Ryno?

Edit: Also DeWhine is really whining about his buyout. Maybe Melo texted him that it's getting done Wade could then go to Houston and all watch Harden dribble the ball through the floor, travel, and flop his way to 34 free throws a game.

Beginning to think Melo is going to be bought out. If they want him off the team that badly then it makes more sense then taking on Anderson's crappy contract.

Its def not about Melo trade (presser), I don't think with so many insiders you can keep pretty much a done deal a secret.

Only options are indeed a buy-out. Or some kind of announcement that they are keeping him.

But most likely it will be a jersey introduction.

if a team is giving melo 15-20mm per year then either:

1. they're dumb
2. melo averaged 20+ ppg

if it's #2 then lol that's not gonna happen. melo is behind the depth chart. kristaps is #1 and they signed thj to be #2. IF the option was #1 then i feel bad for the team that gives an average 3pt specialist to 15-20mm per year.

Just when I think you can't go further with the Melo hate you top it every time BnO  You amuse me.

if melo is on this team, you actually think the knicks are gonna waste a year of development of both kristaps and thj for melo?

the offense is NOT gonna be built around melo if he stays on the team.

Melo is staying, and we need him since KP isn't ready yet. Let's move Melo next year. Melo thread 20 sounds about right

If Melo stays on NY, there's almost no way he doesnt lead the team in FGA.

lol the front office and jeff isn't gonna allow that to happen, they're not gonna stunt kristaps' development especially after tearing it up in the eurobasket as the #1 option.

and if they do then perry, mills, and jeff all deserve to get fired together.

Lol teams are dumb if they sign a average 3pt specialist to $15-20m per year, but wants the team he is apparently a fan of, to trade for Ryan Anderson for $20m + a year.

anderson does the only thing he's good at a lot better than melo.

lol of course you don't think kristaps is ready, you think he got punked for not punching randolph

14.7 field goal attempts
6.9 free throw attempts
23.6 points per game.

best part is that all his points came within the flow of the offense, nothing was ruined so he can get his points.

I think that's false. Melo shoots wide open 3's, the type that Anderson shoots off of Harden's playmaking, at a better clip.

Melo was around 44%

Anderson was around 40%

at least you admit melo's only use at this point is as a catch and shoot 3pt shooter.

see we can agree on things.

Haha where did I imply that? I like you BnO but we'll probably never agree on anything basketball related. It's ok I need that balance in my life  Maybe you like Pizza? We can agree on that.

thats a horrible argument bro. Melo shoots a lot different shots than Anderson.

If Melo played more Olympic style Melo his catch and shoot #'s are much higher then his general percentages because on the knicks he takes a lot of bail out and contested shots.

If you think with Harden and CP3 he would be taking similar shots your crazy. Melo is a better shooter than Anderson.
