Nothing. His "camp" is cautiously optimistic that a trade is going to happen before Monday. Melo himself hasn't made any comments.

Yeah, since when did NBA teams schedule a presser before news of a trade has broke.... seems unlikely at best

If he's healthy and ready to play but not playing that torpedoes his numbers which kills his value in free agency. Lotta relationships will suffer. He's not Starbury. Melo is still very much an NBA darling. But we need a resolution.

1. melo's value is set, he is what he is. his value doesn't diminish if you don't play him.
2. players don't run the league.
3. the front office already laid out the plan time and time and time again, and they've never mentioned melo as part of their plan so players can get butthurt but the knicks already stated their intentions of this franchise now and moving forward, and it doesn't involve melo.

tomorrow is a big deadline because the camp opening up on Monday and the league offices closed on the weekend. Makes sense if anything was to happen it would happen on friday so that they weren't dealing with the sh*t show on Monday.
