There is no argument for him being a better prospect than Lebron. None.

You are saying that with the benefit of hindsight after seeing what LeBron became. Lebron was not better in high school or even his rookie year in the NBA than Doncic is right now. Granted his athleticism advantage narrows the gap down immensely when talking about him as a pure prospect.


Now that LeBron is the best player ever it's easy to say he was the better prospect. And don't get me wrong he was arguably the greatest prospect ever too.

Doncic's skill level is DRASTICALLY better than Lebron's at the same age. That's absolutely inarguable. You can't even opine on that fact.

Lebron's skill level at 18 was nowhere NEAR that of Doncic's.

Now that said Lebron's skill level has improved quite a bit. But LeBron is like a career 34% 3pt shooter who can barely dribble. Let's give this kid some credit for goodness sake! You guys are acting like he's trash when he is the clear cut #1 pick.

He's got a skill level only slightly below some of the starting PG in the NBA and the kid is a freaking 6'8 , 18 year old.

LeBron is the greatest to ever lace them up. Easily. But his SKILLS were simply not on par with Doncic's at this age.

Heck just look at kobe at 18 and then look at Doncic. There's just not many comparisons to this kid

Look we are not saying Doncic is trash. I'm pretty certain that all of us would love to have him on our team but some of your claims are just absurd.

Lebron at a young age was hyped because of his combination of athletism, body and most importantly, skill.

Young Lebron is just as skilled as Doncic at this age when it comes to passing and dribbling the ball.

Yeah.. it's just that people want Doncic to succeed because it's much easier to relate to him.
He looks like a great guy, he is white, smart, he has pink cheeks that makes him look 13 and he is european.

But seriously, potentially he can be the most relatable superstar for bunch of different reasons and he is easy to root for.
