What can they offer as an alternative? Anyone know the breakdown of their contracts.

Frye/Jefferson/one of Smith/Shump (lol) would do it, I think all are either expiring or options after this year

Yeah that was an overraction on my part but one thing people forget. Melo just got separated. When things like that happen you want to gtfo of the place where all your memories with your ex are. Especially when a marriage ends. Melo wants to get the **** out of NY and not just for basketball related reasons. That is such a understated story.

just a few hours ago they were saying Morey just give them Ryan Anderson and NO PICKS (knicks have no leverage)

now they are saying they should have given up Capela! LOL oh how the tides have turned

Is the Wade buyout going to have an impact on things? This Cleveland talk is now interesting. Still another team with crap to offer but...maybe they can get a 3rd team? He might as well name GSW too while he's at it. Why not OKC? What's wrong with going there?

honestly it took some major balls to do what he did....it looks like it might have paid off.

This is so huge. We get better assets. We keep the tank intact. The kids get to grow up together. Perry! Perry! Perry!

Well let's see what happens but the fact that Perry came in to a **** situation and at least got Melo to expand his list is an accomplishment in itself.
