So we should draft young Talent with High Potential and try to create a new winning Culture ?

It's the only thing that's left to do, chief. The talent is not willingly coming here in the near future. If we sign someone through free agency with quasi-potential, we'll have to overpay similar to THJ. But signing all star talent is extremely unlikely.

We'll keep getting hopefully former head cases like Beasley and crossing our fingers that the stars align.

I would not be surprised if Porzingis is eyeing the door the first opportunity he gets.

With Frank, KP and Willy I feel we have executed this plan since Phil.. Don't throw tomatoes at me I am just saying we have slowly moved in the right direction. I was a Phil endorser but I love our new GM. I was clearly wrong on that one

Phil's one major problem IMO, was insisting on the triangle as a GM or Prez, whatever. If he would've just dialed it back some and only insisted on ball and player movement from any coach he chose to hire, I think he would've been fine. But whatever. I am grateful to him for getting us on the right track, as you've said.

Not even gonna lie, I can't name any meaningful moments I actually appreciate Melo for as a Knick.

I do however wish him the best in his future in the NBA elsewhere.

I wish I was a mature thinking as you.

The team just needed to move on. Just glad it's over. Knicks and Melo can move forward and hopefully both find better success without each other.

I'm a Knick fan, through and through. Your pain is my pain.

Perry seems to conduct himself like a professional and everyone seems to only have positive things to say about him. Some relationships are just unrepairable. I think we were the guilty party more than Carmelo was, but no ones hands are clean.

Being realistic, I think KP will be good. I don't think he'll ever be Carmelo good. I definitely do not think KP is going to be able to carry a franchise, nor do I think he will be able to survive a full season being the 1st option. He will need a lot of help even in his prime if he is here. He now has the target squarely on his back. Carmelo took the blunt of the heat. There are no longer shields deflecting attention and criticism from the fans and media. Hopefully our new front office learns how to run some interference with the media.

I think Willy will be a solid player, but not someone you could classify a cornerstone. I don't know what to make of Frank, because only a hand full of people have actually seen him play.

I'm rocking with my team because I always have, but we have to learn to treat our talent better.
