I'm a Knicks fan for exactly 20 years now, from the moment I first stepped in MSG (and I'm from Europe). This is a good day for the Knicks.
Wish Mello all the best, but it was time to leave and team rebuild around Kristaps. Knicks needs a new game plan(no ISO ball), Melo needs to chase the ring elsewhere.

I appreciate that he is now off of my team, and I no longer need to look forward to him being off my team.

I will also appreciate us knicks team, not a player, fans finally have a season to look forward to.

Us knicks fans can finally rejoice in knowing there's a chance for success. Wish Phil hadn't destroyed his value so badly that only a second round pick comes back.

But I hate harden more than westbrook, so I like this trade. Melo is the #3 option on offense, and he at least has 3 defenders around him so it's OK for him to do his near-amare level defense

On the real, I'm happy for Melo and the fact that I get to be a Melo fan again. The Thunder are going to be the underdogs vs. GSW, and I'll be rooting for OKC in that series. Russy and PG are 2 players that I love to watch. Adams and Roberson compliment Melo well.

I'm 110% here for Off Ball Melo. Wish we would've realized that was his true role the last year or so.

We're finally able to ween out this fan base to only knicks fans. Fans that want the team to win. Not a guy who fills the seats at the garden, jacking up ticket prices.

Gonna miss the dude. I actually enjoyed watching him play unlike some members of this board. He was an offensive genius plain and simple. That being said, KP is on the Dirk curve and I can't wait to see him breakout. It's gonna be a fun Knick season and the future looks bright. Fck the lottery ball chase, let's get some wins!
