Cool. Have fun being a band wagoner who lost his fan card. You not welcomed back.
Yes he is.
You and no one else gets to pull fan cards unless you want yours pulled too.
Sounds like someone isn't very excited to be on the OKC forum.

Re: Carmelo Anthony Appreciation Thread
Thanks for that pretty stroke on your shot.
Thanks for the 25 or so games you were Dad Melo.
Thanks for that road win in OKC late in 2013.
I wish the last six years were not such a waste of your career and our time but you made that bed with Dolan back in 2011, and so you got to lie in it.
If your new team can make it out of the first round of the playoffs I might tune in.

THJ is going to have a season worth his contract. Put my name on that right now. Please.
With Melo gone, I now see the young knicks team scraping into the playoffs, barring injuries.
Weak east. Nothing to lose so less pressure. But most of all, finally players who will adapt to team play and defense.
I'm seeing 34-41 wins now. Had the knicks at 28-32 with Melo
LOL
I have 25 wins

OKC squad is scary alright-- for OKC fans. That usage is a recipe for turmoil and underachieving, especially with the horrible defense Melo plays nowadays.
So OKC will win less than the 50 win mark you predicted for the Knicks this season if they traded Melo?
Wow did I really say the Knicks would win around 50 games if they traded Melo? I could have sworn I said 40 games-- you agree there's a chance for that surely.
OKC won 47 games last season. I could see them winning 48-55 games but faltering badly in the playoffs. Who is going to take up the defensive slack for Melo? You're asking a lot of Roberson and Paul George. Like KP he can't be in two places at once on defense. We've seen this movie before. Gaudy regular season record but not really built for the playoffs. Last year they lost in the first round in 5 games to a team that plays no defense. You have to be in fantasy land to expect much better playoff results this coming season.
Outside of GS and SA I see a ton of jockeying. Minnesota will be in the playoff mix even though Wiggins will be overpaid and under-deliver. Clippers will not fall off as much as people expect, but they will fall off unless Gallo stays healthy and he and Griffin develop some real chemistry along the lines of Pierce and Garnett.
Lol having one minus defender in your closing five (Melo) who frankly is aware enough to guard 4s, is not difficult to hide. They lost last year because they had ZERO shooting around WB and now they have PG (very good shooter and excellent defender) and Melo (elite catch and shoot shooter and can be a passable defender) around him with roberson (elite defender) Adams, and when they want to go big Pat Pat. That team is easily winning 50 games.

Re: Carmelo Anthony Appreciation Thread
Again Melo isn't a bad defender at the 4. I've put the lineup numbers on here too many times to count and I'm not going to waste my time to do it again. Luckily for Melo OKC probably already knows this and will almost exclusively play him there. If they can sure up that bench at the deadline and avoid the dreaded 4-5 seed in the West, I expect them to make the WCF. Y'all are seriously underrating the impact this is going to make for Russ's game if he has Melo to spread the floor at the 4 with PG out there also.

Re: Carmelo Anthony Appreciation Thread
Go get em, Melo
Not his fault we traded what we did to get him, or that we were capped out with Stat's bad contract
Never hated him as a person, but he could be frustrating to watch sometimes
I'll root for him to suceed in OKC

ahh, sorry. i thought you were trying to say that melo makes the knicks better, and they will do worse with him gone.
my mistake!
We got worse. Tank nation is here!
Worse is very relative.
We go from a 4-8 lotto team to a 1-6 lotto team?

Finally the Warriors will have some competition other than the Spurs. They have Rockets and OKC now.
Not me. I'd think it would be much more entertaining to watch the entire OKC organization to implode because of this trade.

Re: Carmelo Anthony Appreciation Thread
Thank you Melo for that scoring title and leading us to that division title in 2013.
Wish you would have been more patient and waited for half a season longer lockout or not instead of having forced Dolan to overpay for you. Could have surrounded you with a much better team.
Do well in the playoffs buddy.

So you are saying we should have gotten a lesser return?
I'm honestly trying to understand your position......

It was always one thing or another with him. These were wasted years. Melo has no legacy with the Knicks.
Good riddance.

chemistry doesn't work out, PG and Russ opt out and leave, Melo opts in to get his money. That'd be entertaining.
