I'll tell you another thing... Menlo is one real sharp dude off the court. No joke. His finesse game has always been off the charts. It really always has been on the court where I had issues rooting for him.

So we got Willy's ceiling, a second round pick, and a guy who if he gets off the bench means our team sucks... Out of curioisity, are people happy with the trade outcome or just that Melo is gone?

OKC has improved imo. How much just depends on the change that those guys are willing to do.

I still think Houston, Spurs and obviously GS is better, but I do think OKC has the potential to be pretty good.

So the line up looks like this?

C. E. Kanter/noah/O'Quinn/kornet
PF. Porzingis/willy/lft
SF. Beasley/kuzmingkus/Hayes
SG. Hardaway jr/c.lee/baker/dotson
PG. Ntilikina/j.jack/sessions

I think knicks should try to move lft and O'Quinn and lee.

I feel like we could've got better

Basketball wise, I don't think this changes anything long term for us. We were going to be bad with or without Melo, and odds are the guys we traded for won't be around in a few years anyways. Maybe the few extra losses from not having Melo means the difference in draft position to get a star player, but that remains to be seen

Off-court wise, we needed to move Melo just to get the circus away for a little bit, and we did it without taking any long term bad contracts, so that's a plus I guess

I give this deal a "meh" out of 10

Don't like it, don't hate it

It's better than 3 years of Ryan Anderson.

And we finally pick the direction to tank.

They are happy he's gone.
I wanted a better package but it was time for him to go.

OKC. I do have Minny as a lower seed.

I think knicks should try to move lft and O'Quinn and lee.

Think we're moving one of KOQ or Kanter before the season starts, probably KOQ

I'm guessing

Frank/Baker/Jack(or Sessions, only one of these two are making the roster)
THJ/Dotson
Lee/Beasley/McBuckets
KP/Kuz/LFT
Willy/Kanter/Noah

With our nonguaranteed guys filling out the roster, no clue who's gonna stay or not

You know, end of the day, we're both Knicks fans and want the best for our team, we just disagree for how to get there

I apologize for all the insults man, I get really emotional when talking about the team sometimes
