I wish we could have put at least 1 good player to play next to him while he was here

Tyson was the best due to STAT. Really messed up. I pray we don't fuq over KP's career.

precisely. of course these guys aren't going to want to deal with a **** fanbase, but a **** fanbase is only an issue when you aren't winning, and in pats case, not winning it all.

We don't win around here though. That's why we always have issues. People literally went in on KP over a meeting. They don't do that if we are winning. We're losing though.

Ewing was undeniably the best player during his tenure with no player ever suiting up as good for any reasonable duration. When got better teammates he himself was old.

Never said he did, his teams have been rather subpar, but that's what happens when a roster is gutted.

Amare was not an all star. Amare broke down after half a season into a 100 million dollar contract. By this train of thought when we got Kidd at 40 I guess that means he was considered an all star teammate for Melo?

Amare wasn't an all-star?

His first year here before we got Melo. Never made another because he stayed hurt. Tyson made it with Melo one year.

Remember when fans booed KP after he was drafted ? Yeah that's the kind of place NY is. Judging before even seeing what the kid can do.

I still think NYK could have made the ECF that year if only we had a player that can average 10ppg in that series against the Pacers... just 10 ppg.. nobody showed up in that series except Melo, our second best player was probably Chris Copeland.. haha Chris Copeland as your 2nd best player in the playoffs baby... but yea Melo sucked and couldn't carry us all by himself.

Anyway, I don't know how many times this same argument has happened but I'm glad it's over, now I can follow KP here and Melo in OKC peacefully (?)

By game 6 of the 2nd rd Iman Shumpert had only made a total of 12 baskets. 12. Dude was the starting SF.

Kidd had made less than that...

We literally have selective memory when it comes to Melo and the quality of players we actually gave him.

melo's tenure with the knicks has been a failure and today it has ended. deal with it.

You are the real failure, just as this organization... You must have some serious personal issues... Enjoy the life

I disagree with bno too, but this was uncalled for

Everyone else's PPG and FG% were pathetically low especially our starting players yet Melo is the only one mentioned and deemed failure all these years... but hey I think we should stop talking about things that happened years ago, it doesn't matter to us anymore!

I'm actually pretty excited to see KP and Frank here and Melo on OKC, next season is sooo hype!

Nope.
I was listening to commentary and they said 12 made shots. Kidd was running something stupid too.

Edit: just looked it up Iman made a total of 16 shots... he blanked one game.

Jason Kidd didn't make a single shot...

I really and truly want Melo to find success and happiness in OKC

he played his heart out in ny and was always the good soldier and ambassador for NY Knicks despite the franchise

i blame many of his failures on the GMs and coaches he played for and I think his personal basketball failures were well known before we brought him here so we didn't have any excuses of being surprised

just like OKC wont be shocked

If OKC can get George and Melo for next to nothing why could we never build around melo here?
its unacceptable

good luck in OKC melo!!
