And I REALLY disagree with the way Bud has handled Jenkins. If he doesn't view JJ2 as a piece to keep moving forward, fine. But knowing the kid is a FA next summer, at least place him on the active roster and see if we could potentially build up his stock for trade.

This is one of those times when he's thinking like a coach, but needs a GM to advise him. If JJ plays well and we trade him for a 2nd round pick. Great. But to just throw the kid away for nothing. While Bazemore and Thabo struggle offensively...

Bud is a great coach. No doubt. But I have concerns regarding his ability to govern as GM.

After signing a 3 year deal, then getting no playing time, Dallas has already cut John Jenkins from the team after only 5 month into his 3 year contract.

Sad to say that the Hawks medical staff was right about Jenkins not being able to come back from his injury.

Phoenix claimed his contract off waivers, it could be impactful news if not for the fact the Suns just love collecting undersized SGs to play at PG.

I was a big fan of the kid outta college. I still believe, 5 years later, he can be a productive scorer off the bench in the right system.

But he'll be lucky to make it out of pre-season still on the roster.

^ A fair assessment.
