Great deal for Warren. Wonder why he didn't wait it out. Maybe he realized how little some guys with seemingly high value are getting that he didn't want to take a chance.

Good deal for both sides. I like it.

We really dodged a bullet on that one!

$12.5M a season for an efficient high scoring backup SF/PF is pretty good.

$12.5M a season for an efficient high scoring starting SF/PF is **** GREAT!

Either way, McD made the right move.

Looks like a good deal for the Suns. Any word on a possible option on the 4th year?

That is a great contract compared to what's been handed out.

That is an insane deal for a player like TJ. Hopefully the Suns can retain most of their young guys for similar contracts.

Sucks for them though, but 50 million isn't pocket change. I'd probably be able to retire for life if someone gave me $1-2 million, but I don't need much.

Awesome deal. Even with TJ's inconsistency last season with the mystery injury, he still managed 14.4/5.1 on 50fg%.

I think this is a great value contract to retain a guy still with plenty of room to improve.

Evan turner, Allan Crabbe, Solomon hill, Otto Porter
I'll take TJ at his contract.

Just awesome value. I love it.

Good early market deal. Less to negotiate in the off-season. As long as TJ continues his trajectory, its great.

That's our first extension in quite some time, if I am not mistaken. Can anyone else recall an extension we've done in the last 10 years? There may have been some, but I'm not remembering...let me know if you can recall.

$50M/4 years is an amazing value for the Suns as an organization.
Very good contract for T.J. too, great insurance for life.

Really happy with McD on this one.

Drafting Josh Jackson and extending T.J. Warren on the same summer....
