Who plays post up basketball anymore? Some of you are stuck in the dark ages.

Good teams no longer dump the ball into the post. I think Orlando is best with Biyombo at the 5, but there’s no reason why Gordon couldn’t play there sometimes.

That's cool, we'll just run a PnR on him all night since he can't defend it.

J/L. The thing is, someone will break the new mould eventually with an elite post up player, and then everyone will want to copy them, same as they do with the Warriors. Vuc just isn't good enough to be that mould breaker.

And who would that be? We have Vucevic now, and he exploits none of these small ball teams.

Post up basketball is only efficient if you have a good who either....

A) Shoots 60 percent from the field

B) Gets the line a lot while still shooting well over 50 percent.

Stop being stuck in dark ages.

basketball will always be favorable to players who are tall and who can post up smaller guys, but post up game can't be their only strenght. Guys like Cousins, Whiteside, Marc Gasol, hell even Gobert will punish you in the paint if you leave them 1 on1 but that's not only thing they can do on the floor.
