Charlotte wisely signed Shawn Bradley to be the new GM. See ya Cho!!

I start every franchise mode by firing my entire staff and replacing them with randoms based on a combination of absurdity of their name, goofy pictures, and potential. Here is some of my current staff on 2k17...

Head Coach - Lucas Lucas
Ass. Coach - Jacob Eddie
Ass. GM - Timothy Thomas
Head Scout - Mississippi Sherman
CFO - Hawk Mills

former 76er exciting draft pick Tim Thomas! Nice.

I had Kobe as an assistant GM once

the GM mode was a little more interesting this year with the owner drama story. If it's the same story everytime though, it will get a little painful starting new teams and having the same drama

Yeah, I always fire my trainer and scout on day one. I'm a MyGM guy as well (can't stand MyCareer and the grinding/microtransactions), and have really been enjoying the gameplay this year (and the new shooting - shooting last year was beyond awful).

I went out and bought this game yesterday. Last 2K game that I truly played was the one with Jordan on the cover. That game was sooo much fun. I played it all the way up until the next release (the one with Magic on the cover?) and that game was garbage, so I haven't played any 2K since.

Mycareer is such a grind early on. I'm not going to pay 20 bucks just to make the game enjoyable. Really hate these microtransactions.
