It's H2H 9-cat One win btw. One win makes everything more tense and interesting.

and woah, is this a new Yahoo setting?

Allow injured players from waivers or free agents to be added directly to IR: Yes

No, I've never played with turnovers and I think category wins makes a ton more sense. If you blow someone away in 4 cats and narrowly lose 5, you shouldn't be 0-1, you should be 5-4.

The one win isn't a true measure of how good teams are.

I don't know about the injured players thing. Never seen that. I'd say no. I think it's ok to draft injured players, put them on IR, and then you can add a FA, but I don't know if I like being able to add directly to IR if you don't already have a roster spot. You should originally have to use a real active roster spot on a player and then move to IR.

Boo, you're going to have to fight me over this one. I absolutely love one win. Makes every week important, and plays out like real basketball. It also prevents teams from inflating their numbers against the lower place teams. A 9-0 win over a bad team shouldn't be any different to a 5-4 win.

You end up with really important match-ups towards the end of the regular season with very real playoff implications.

Poll time.

But everyone who was any good would likely get that 9-0 win over the bad team.

Plus, if people don't like turnovers, or are not used to them, you can run category win matchups and only go with 8 cats.

The single win thing just makes h2h so random, which is why many people don't like it in the first place. It might make everything more intense, but the team that accumulated the most impressive #s throughout the season could miss the playoffs simply because they randomly faced a team on an insane week every week. It's kind of the problem with fantasy football. I see a team 0-3 right now who is the overall highest scoring team in the league, but just randomly faced a team that had a crazy week every week.

Punting strats are a given in H2H. They just become even more viable with one win. The mechanic exists solely for H2H... people who don't like it play roto.

Yes, with one win you can punt 2-3 stats and it might not matter I guess. I kind of thought one win was standard....and I thought category wins was something created since 1 win didn't make sense.

I guess 1 win could drastically change drafting strategies to what people are used to.

Actually probably best to count me out here. With the other two leagues, I don't want to bite off more than I may be able to chew.

Sorry guys

I have no idea how to play H2H so I'll just go with whatever is chosen and will learn on the fly

Are you KimchiKing?

If so, once you pull out your team that leaves a ten team league, so maybe we should/could expand rosters a couple of slots? It doesn't matter either way, but teams will be stacked.

batsmasher, I also assume there is a max number of games played each week so someone can't sub in and out by dropping players daily to rack up stats?

If people would rather we try to get up to get more I can ask some people outside of the Suns forum, though sometimes it's better to keep it to Suns fans.

I know I checked out, but I've done a lot of H2H and I think most comment is putting an acquisition limit per week but unlimited games. At least that was most common during my H2H run.

Did you remove yourself from the league? Or does batsmasher need to do that? Or did you ever join?

Everyone else, it looks like we have 11, so need one more I think.
