Isn't there a rule about not trading picks when on the clock? Though I think someone else may have broken the rule...maybe that was in the G league though.

The clock doesn't officially start until October 1st, so you should be able trade your pick when it's your turn before the 1st.
There have been a couple trades like this in previous years establishing precedent.

You could broker a trade where you arrange to draft the player your trading partner wants and then make the trade official after your turn

Yes, I thought about that workaround, but things could change and someone could pull out or get injured, etc. Probably good to try and avoid that. It's unlikely, but you never know.

Nice pick. I actually had him as a consideration for my pick prior to my last one, but needed more blocks/boards at this point. Though it wouldn't surprise me if Gordon broke out and did really well, particularly with rebounding. He would have huge rebounding games at AZ. Once had 18 I think...I think it was the tourney too.
