Yeah, I think we are on the same page. If it's 9 positions, my suggestion is an average of about 3 misses per position, but I think most people max the number of games at some or most of their positions, so would have more potential misses at other ones.

41 is an average of about 4.5 misses at each slot. That seems like quite a bit, since you would almost certainly fall back some spots in the standings if you play 40 fewer games than someone. I mean some cats are so close just a few games matter.

It seems most people max out positions and there really isn't any reason you shouldn't. Even if you miss some game time decisions (I do too) then you can catch up by subbing in different players into slots.

So even after we do reverse draft of standings this year (other than round 5), you want to do that every year regardless? I think ultimately that will make the league less competitive.
