Roberson's mechanics don't look like they've improved.

Also liking the pg13 adams 2 man game.

He's gonna wear it in games too.

I liked some of the things Ferguson was doing.

George & Melo look like they are in mid-season form already. Looking good.

I thought that Ferguson looked promising. He hit a few nice buckets and had good defensive awareness. Very springy.

I was surprised how good Christon looked. He looks more comfortable. I could see him getting minutes over Felton. His 3-ball looked really good and he was hustling on defense. He also had some nice finished around the rim. I hope this trend continues.

Canaan looked decent. Hit a couple of threes.

I was really surprised that Grant missed so many open threes. Hopefully, that isn't indicative of a setback in that area for him.

Pretty much agree with all of your points.
Ferg also had a nice assist in transition.
Semaj has shown some flashes before but still......
Grant's performance surprised me a little. It wasn't so much that he wasn't hitting shots he just didn't show much energy. His handle looked a little better though.
Back up center will be an issue if no further moves are made. Sure they can go small, but if Adams goes down they literally have no viable option to replace him.

George and Melo got me really psyched for the season. Really love the fact that Westbrook is gonna have other scoring options to kick the ball out too. This was without Russ; Westbrook is gonna help space the floor even more when he is out there. I cannot wait to see the defense forcefully collapse on Russ and George will be waiting in the lurch along with Melo to knock down an open bucket and make 'em pay. I hope GSW eat crow.

George looked automatic on own threes. I'm ecstatic to have a guy shooting the ball and expect it to go in.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

He did not. He sprained his left knee during the EuroBasket tournament so they are being careful with him.

Have never been this hyped for a season. I know it's early, but these guys look like they're having fun. It's going to be a great year. Dreamlike off-season for sure.

The Thunder have embraced the whole thing. Which means, just like the Beard from years ago and the Stache more recently they'll wear it completely thread bare by about January or February. You'll have middle aged women in the expensive seats wearing themed Melo hoodies to the games and then it'll be done.

This scrimmage really got me thinking. Is there any value in giving Felton minutes behind Westbrook over Christon? Felton was a huge negative last year for the Clips and is only getting older. Christon still has upside and is much more athletic than Felton and a better 3-pt shooter. I think I'd give Christon minutes just to see how he fairs playing with a better second unit until he gives us sufficient evidence that Felton would be that much better over him. Last year, his RPM numbers were awful as it was his first year playing in the NBA plus our second unit just flat out sucked defensively.

Felton was a decent backup last year. He wasn't close to as bad as Semaj, and Semaj hasn't shown anything to really indicate he's going to ever be as good as current Felton. The biggest upgrade to the second unit is actually Felton.
