Who wants Dougie McBuckets!
Gone for the best second round pick, attached to any expiring dead weight contract.
What's your best offer?

Re: Who wants Dougie McBuckets!
Why? The Knicks could use a shooting SF - yea they paid THJ a whole bunch of money but the dude is really undersized for a SF IMO..

The underappreciated greats:

Some seek fame cause they need validation, some say hating is confused admiration - Nasty, nasty Nas

Dallas would take him as we could use forward depth at both spots and we have cap space so you don't even have to take back dead weight if you don't want to. We can give you a 2018 2nd protected 55-60(we owe it to the Bucks if we finish with a top 5 record

Chuck beat me to it. But I side with him. I'll give you our 2nd for Dougie. I'd actually do Yogi for him since we aren't getting value for Yogi anyways.
And I know he's not good, but I still remember that stretch 18 months ago when he ran the Bulls for 4 games.
NY wouldn't have to play Jack or Sessions if they got Yogi..

Done. Get Donnie on the phone!

Yeah. Depending on how the combination of OG/Bruno/KJ McDaniels does, I'd be interested in him for some depth.
A bench of Wright/Powell/Doug/Siakam/Poeltl is pretty interesting.

I don't think the Knicks should trade him for such a bad return.

Lol no. Doug is super weak and gets abused by bigger athletes.
He's too weak to play PF and too slow to guard wings. He doesn't really have the physical tools to do much in the NBA. He's a good but not great shooter, so his ceiling is probably 8th-10th man as a situational shooter playing next to good defenders.
Doug is the poster child for not drafting sub-par athletes who dominated weak college competition with high draft picks. The NBA is a league of athletes.

IMO he's best as a guy with enough offensive skill that a team can play him big minutes without being accused of tanking - while being bad enough overall that he helps the team tank.

Is Looney healthy or is he done? That seems like an awfully low way to sell him.

Off the bench? That's who he is defensively.

I think vxmike said it best as a BUlls fan who has seen him play, the guy does not have a place in the NBA. He's too slow to play SF, too weak to play PF. I wuldn't trade anything of real value from Dal for him, and a Dal 2nd while not great, is still more valuable than McDermott since they'll suck with or without him. No way would I give Yogi for him, while we won't sign Yogi back, he's still a nice spark plug off the bench who seems to have a friendship with DSJ, already more valuable than anything Dougie has ever done or ever will do in the NBA.
