I expect to see Dedmon and Collins shooting more threes whilst playing the 5-spot.

Prince had no impact last night, on offense or defense.
Was just kind of 'there.'

The good: Collins can play. Dedmon looked good.

The rest:
I thought Cook looked not good.
Jenkins does one thing. Try to get his shot off no matter what. No thanks.
Plumlee was worse than advertised which is horrible
Starting lineup is going to have to be Belli and Prince. There isn't enough offense with Baze and Prince at the wings
Dennis refuses to drive and kick. That's gotta change
Dorsey might not have done a lot but he looked like an nba player to me. He didn't seem slow at all
Moose looked like Moose but at least the guy has pretty good defensive footwork.

Noticed, in the box score, Hawks have one new guy who can rebound!

Gee. For some strange reason, Atlanta just didn't look like an 82 loss team, did they. And, they hit their free throws!

Yes on Dennis, that is there for the taking - kick it out. I guess he's still unsure if we have shooters.
Yes on Beli instead of Baze. I trust Beli as a more capable and sure ball handler that can and will make the right play. Baze is just too erratic. All I see are arms and legs moving one way, the ball the opposite way.
The plays that were forced to Collins in the paint should have been kick outs to the perimeter.

Game one of pre season is now history. We learned a thing or two already and look forward to game 2 tonight.

I've said, "With our new center, we will be as good or better than with D8." With this wee sample from game 1,
I will be looking for further proof that Dedmon is a pretty good NBA center.

Collins wowed everyone in Summer League. "He can't do that with the big boys of the NBA" we were told by those
experts who know everything. Did any one mention that he could grab a rebound or two?

Ilyasovia showed us that, as an old man of 30, he still knows how to play in the NBA and will be an excellent
example for our young lads to pay attention to as they learn the in's and out's of NBA life.

Even as we have maintained that Atlanta is better than "The worst team in the NBA," we now find that those
experts now have three or four teams ranked lower that the Hawks. No joke. It's true!

Injuries can devastate any NBA team. We are told that King James will be unable to play tonight. That's taken
to mean that, should Atlanta accidentally win this pre season game, the NBA and their experts, have a valid
excuse for that happening. Gee!

So many things to do with this new Hawk team and such a short time to do it. We will probably be 20 to 25
games into the season before it all gets figured out. Hawks may not be great but they will be exciting!

Most impressive play by Collins was draining an 8 footer right over Whiteside. The kid ain't scared.

Just hoping Love tries to block a Collins dunk attempt tonight. Oh please please please please please.
