Preseason Game #2 - Hawks vs Cavs

Things I'd like to see:

1. Taurean Prince - I need to see something from him offensively, his defense is fine.
2. Start Belinelli - the Prince/Baze pairing is problematic
3. More touches for Collins - I would love to see how/if he can score from the post/off the dribble etc. - he's trying to dunk on everybody
4. I would like to see Dennis not get his shot blocked so much.
5. Bazemore - sigh. just show us something, anything.
6. Muscala - ugh - just show us something, anything.

Not much to add. That pretty much covers it. I'd love to see Dennis drive and kick to Dorsey, Marco at the 3 point line which would hopefully help him not get blocked so much.

Agree on Prince. He's the opposite of just about everyone. I want to see him start shooting jumpers.

I was high on Dennis last year but i'm down on him this year. Seeing him out there with Baze, short timers, and rookies I question if he can lead a team. I don't think he has the respect to do it. It's early though.

I think Babbitt is going to be good for us.

I would love to see Collins get some low post touches..he had one after being in he game for about a minute on Sunday and nailed it...nice turnaround from the right side of the floor..let's try the left tonight lol...why not.


Looking forward to Collins dunking in the face of one Tristan Thompson and not the Kardashian hoeness out of his system..

Ps Ur right Bird, Collins was trying to dunk absolutely everything..at one point in the game I thought he could have taken a quick dribble and dunked but he wanted to do it off the catch..lol..smh..

I'm casually looking around at the games for now, I guess with the early start, for the most part we'll don't see many DNP-CD's unless injured. Works out for the games in cities away from their main arenas,(like the Thunder in Tulsa)

- BazeLess' first few plays ... turnover, turnover, foul, foul, foul ... 3 fouls in . the. 1st. quar. ter.
- Dennis outta control on the court (and off ... too soon?)
- Dedmon with 7 points including draining a 3? ... yesh, yesh ... up that trade value, sun
- emoLove absolutely abusing the Hawks rite now.
- Who had the worst airbawl brik 3? DelaneySucks or Printz. Game was stopped to replace the backboard. Can't be playing ball with a Spalding embedded in there ya know.
- Kyle Korver just out-hustled DelaneySucks to a loose bawl. Yup.
- JColl just got a dunk blok'd by Khloe. Aiight, JColl. You get one-a those since you a rookie.
- Brussino just drained a 3. Aiight ok my brutha, ok

I exaggerated 1 turnover but the fouls are real. Actually one was an offensive foul so I guess I didn't exaggerate after all.

Just finished watching the 1st:
Dennis is not looking for his shot on every drive, the drive and kick that mac-d said was there, running the offense.
The drive and score by Dorsey at the end of the 1st was nice (John Jenkins can't do that).
Baze, Delaney, Moose - bleh.
I like that Brussino can handle the ball.

1st quarter was

Cleveland, as they are apt to do, sunk a batch from down town - Love had 3 of em. - -

Then the Hawks woke up some time after the 2nd quarter started. They actually hit some three's.
Dedmon, our new D8 replacement, hit his first three, ever in any NBA game. I'm still believing in him
as he did several good things as a center, didn't he.

First quarter, Atlanta looked the part of a last place team and the Cavs looked all world. After that,
things changed. Many, many players saw the floor, as expected in pre season. Hawks had several
scoring opportunities from the foul line and they hit most of them, which is necessary if they expect
to win any games in the regular season.

GO ATL HAWKS !!

Didn't expect this win, but I liked the pace and space in this one.
Prince showed something on offense.
More Cook, less Delaney.
Tyler Dorsey over John J.
Dedmon - takes and hits a 3. He has a midrange J. He has amazing hands.
This is the Dennis I like - control the tempo and pace, drive and kick will always be there.
Baze had a rough 1st quarter but ended the game ok. He is still too out of control and I don't like him running the offense.
Babbit was on fya.
Illy stay taking charges.
Moose has done nothing in 2 preseadon games, the same weakling he's always been, getting pushed around.
Maggette will do well leading out GLers.

Richard Jefferson was mad 'cause he's about to be cut from the Cavs so he put an Olynk (weird arm-bar) on Collins thus hurting his shoulder. Probably not serious but he asked right out of the game so it probably was painful.

Saw more of Dennis' jumper tonight. He was too insistent on driving to the basket all of last game and the 1st quarter and was getting his ish packed in. The jumper opens up the court for him and his teammates, can't just let guards and bigs play off and wait for him at the rim.

Baze cannot dribble.

A certain P'bird was already complaining about Bud's rotations.

Luke Babbit is going to be a serious threat in this offense, dude can shoot the lights out of the gym, and is now in a system predicated on getting players like him the open 3 pointer. I can't wait to watch it.
