Questions for you guys:
- Will the 76ers accept cents on the dollar for Jahlil Okafor?
- Is Saric content with a Sixth Man role?
- Will Brett Brown get his due?
- Can Jerryd Bayless resurrect his career?

I've penned a few thoughts on the Sixers offseason, would be interested in some feedback from the Philly faithful: https://thefourpointplay.blog/2017/10/03/nba-sixers-season-previews/

You used the word "vitality" early on when you meant to use "vitally".

Justin Anderson is a strange choice for player to watch because there's a decent chance he isn't even in the rotation. The most significant player to watch should certainly be Simmons.

It's super unlikely his shooting right now is real based on his historical percentages.

Kyrie is going to be a problem.

Thanks for that, updated the typo.

The 'Players to Watch' part of our articles is generally a lesser known guy, and I'd focused on Simmons within a large part of the article. He's obviously one of the main reasons to watch the Sixers this season, but Anderson could be a handy wing depth. As I mentioned, who knows, he may even make RoCo expendable if it's looking like he's gonna get paid.

Fully confident that the Lakers will have one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Not worried about that pick at all. However, I was very much impressed with De'Aaron Fox and Skal last night. Fox is just so so quick with the ball in his hands, and I was completely wrong on Skal. Not sure how much winning it'll translate to this year, but those 2 definitely seem to be solid pieces moving forward.

If what you say is true then you better be worried about that Lakers pick because then there is a good chance it may go to the Celtics.

If it does then it does. I'm done worrying about those picks. Now, if its January and Embiid is having an injury plagued season, then I'm all in.

Guessing they chose to do the scrimmage over a preseason game.

I’ve convinced myself that the Lakers are going to be better than a bottom 5 team. Now I’ll take getting the 6th pick, but if it looks like we are going to get the 10th pick then I would rather take my chances with the Kings pick.

Collin Sexton could be available at 10. That said, I don't care if we get the LA pick or not since we have our own as well as two 2017 draft picks coming next year (e.g. Bolden). Do we have enough roster space for 4 rookies?

We may not have roster space for them per se, but they are tradable assets.

Kuzma may wind up being the best player in this draft. I don’t think what he’s showing is fake. His shooting is real.

Ik it's just preseason and SL but he seems to have a really well rounded game for a modern PF. No glaring weaknesses offensively. Can shoot, handle the ball and seems to be a willing passer. Defensively he's got good feet but he's too weak to stay with bigger guys and it hurts his rebounding.

I don't know if his stroke is real but just from his mechanics he really reminds me of Klay with the quickness and fluidity he gets his jumper off

Even if you believe it, use some discretion, man. Lol.

Use discretion how? I'm just calling it like I see it. He looks like the real deal and he may already be a top 5 rookie in this class. It's only a matter of time before he's inserted into the starting lineup and Randle goes to the bench. Lonzo needs shooters and spacers around him just like Simmons. Randle doesn't maximize Ball's ability. Kuzma will make Ball that much more lethal. The Lakrs got a complete steal.

I said the same thing. He's the Pf version of Klay.

I wasn't that impressed with Kuzma as a prospect. He had a nice combination of athleticism and skill, but his impact for Utah was pretty negligible (especially for a junior).

I'm not convinced of that at all.

Trading away Lou Williams and Russell hurts them.

They really have two guards at this point Ball and Clarkson where it used to be a strength. I see them having problems scoring next year and their defense has gotten worse.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
