So....

Still want to cut okafor? I'd rather cut Sauce or Anderson.

The talent is there always has been.

The problem is getting it out of him on a consistent basis.

As if Sauce and Anderson are consistent right?

I'd love to be wrong about him being able to turn things around. Could provide a nice scoring punch off the bench with Dario + Sauce.

Dario and Furkan seem to have established good chemistry.

100 pages. Okafor is trash. And he was trash when they drafted him. The end. Time to move on to something else.

Time for you to take the blinkers off and look at what Jah can do well. Clearly not trash and whether it is in Philly or somewhere else in the NBA he’s going to have a long career because he can score at an elite level.

One of the last hold outs. Can't admit it to yourself. I understand. Hopefully the hold-outs can find another lost cause to fight, when they get rid of this Bum.

The lost weight should do him well. He's always going to have long arms and big hands..

Perfect time to trade him, at his "peak." Maybe Portland will take him for the vegan crowd draw.

I would be more optimistic if he was scoring within the offensive scheme. Last night just struck me as more of the same. He scored 13 points but converted just 1 assist.

He seemed more active and focused on rebounding.
He made an effort to box out his man on almost every shot.

2 blocks is a good start.

That's what stood out to me. Just the fact that he was actually trying to assert himself defensively and on the boards. Pulling for him while he's here, just not convinced he'll be able to sustain this kind of effort throughout the course of an 82 game season.

If you are a numbers guy, he had the highest +/- last night at +6 . JJ was the only other person with a (+) other than Jah . 14 pts (on 5/6 shotting), 6 rebs and 2 blks in 19 minutes from a backup center is more than solid .

I actually hate numbers, i'm more of an eye test guy and I kept a close eye on Jah last night . When a shot went up, he found a man to put a body on . Fought for rebounds that he would usually let the guards grab . Still retreats on PnR defense, but thats by game plan . You either Switch, Hedge, or retreat , and BB doesn't want him switching or hedging...hes just not skilled enough defensively . But most importantly is that he contested shots at the basket. He did start to look a little winded towards the end of his run, especially with Ben flying up and down the court . I really hope he keeps it up and we can use him off the bench . Imagine how other teams will feel defensively when Embiid goes to the bench and Slim-Jah comes off and just gives em buckets .

still has to be get quicker on reading and kicking out that pass. but Simmons is right and Vegan OK4 continues to impress. (seems like Keith is on board, and even the 'Ballers are taking a, grudging, 2nd look.) if he continues to develop...well, it took 100 pages, now let's get on with it.

Yep. It's going to be difficult for me to be too excited about his offensive improvement until he shows that he can play within the flow of the offense. He just happened to make several low expectation contested fadeaways this time. It still looked like he was mostly just waiting for the ball and occasionally setting half hearted screens.

On defense, he's going to be completely unusable if he's forever going to be retreating vs high screens. I would have hoped that his improved conditioning would allow him to actually contest in these situations.

It has nothing to do with conditioning. It's his basketball instincts. You draft a big who isn't a great rebounder, doesnt block shots or get steals at the college level, then you're going to have a big that won't rebound or defend in the NBA. He's less instinctual than his peers.
