Not hardheaded and long winded, just very thoroughly explained. I value Pepe's realism amidst some delusional posters fairytales. And most of the time it's better to expect little and be surprised, than otherwise.
I agree, but Pepe is quite known for posting at OPP and constantly complaining that Mario never got minutes. If you saw the posts, you would know that he is guilty of the exact same delusion that you are referencing here. So no one is perfect, and no one knows it all. Additionally, posting stats that fit a narrative and then adding a frustration emoji at the end is not my definition of thoroughly explained.
That being said, I basically agree and get what you are saying, especially about the last part. I personally am not expecting more than 35-38 wins, but I could see how this could finally start going in a good direction due to the team finally establishing an identity of hard work and hustle again.
I admit i was wrong about Mario, at some point you simply have to figure out that he lacks of talent for nba , or at least bigger min in nba. My OPP posts are always backed up by stats and only player i ever hated for Magic last 3 years was Jeff Green
Well I do not fault you for Mario, I am just bringing it up as perspective. We all want to see these guys do well. I still think Mario has the tools to be a great shooter at least. Basically what you (and I and others) saw in Mario, I think people still see in Aaron Gordon - flashes of talent where you see the guy take over a game in short stints.
Sucks to have these guys with the potential to be really great players and so far it has not happened. That's 2 top 5 picks that have yet to pan out. This is a key year for both. At least it is a storyline to keep us entertained.
