What's the point of playing him in the preseason if he will miss the first 12 games of the regular season? He'll have plenty of time to get into shape after the season starts. We have so many players at the five (and elsewhere) that we're better off using them to figure out who will play and who we're keeping.

Sunday's game is the front end of a b2b, hopefully he's healthy enough for Monday vs the Rockets. If he's not then obviously he should sit out and by then he should be ready for our final preseason game next Friday. Let's just make sure he's feeling no pain in his knee before playing him in a preseason game.
