Man I really thought of taking Len in both fantasy drafts after the first game and would have if I knew they were going to play him much this season, I would have, because I've always thought he was a great rebounder/shot blocker and that they were using him incorrectly offensively.

I'm still not convinced for sure he will play a ton...but watching this he should get the opportunity. It's just too bad we didn't lock him up to the type of deal I kept mentioning, like 3/21 with maybe a team option, but perhaps we did and he declined.

If he develops chemistry and plays well for us this year and with the C market, perhaps we can keep him if we want. I know it's early and I hate judgement and didn't want to make too much after the first preseason game (and honestly, we shouldn't make too much of anything in the preseason) but he looks good.

Almost a repeat of the last game, minus the win.

Len played great. 18 points (5/7,8/10),9 rebounds and 2 blocks in 30 minutes.

Jackson showing great promise. 11/8/1/1/1/1 in his 2nd game as a Sun. Played some great D, and even though he picked up a quick 4 fouls in the 1st half (Bad calls), he still was able to play defense and stay in the whole game for the 2nd half.

Ulis racking up stats in garbage time. 14/6/2/1. If only he could do something like that against starters.

Booker tried to facilitate more this game and did a pretty good job at it. Seemed like he was trying to get teammates more involved rather than just taking the shot like he usually does. Pleasant surprise, shows us that there is more to his game than just a pure shooter. He just needs to find that happy balance in between the two.

Dont know what happened to Bledsoe tonight, came out ok, but really didnt provide us with anything after midway of the 3nd quarter.

Chriss looked a bit more active on defense tonight. I think the more he plays with JJ, the more intensity we will see from Chriss.

Bender......eh...some decent court vision and passing? We really need to try to step up his development.

Daniels looked great! Probably the biggest reason we came back tonight. Does 2 things and does 1 great (Shooting) and the other one well (Defense).

We seemed to lack a cohesion with each other. The plays looked sloppy, players looked lost, it seriously looked like we were a Rec. League team at points. I understand what Watson is trying to do with the team locker room/culture wise, but we need to get someone in that can draw up some damn X's and O's! These plays are basic and arnt fooling nobody and the defense just stays on our guys. Seriously, its like the amount of plays we actually ran could fit on the back of a cocktail napkin. I saw maybe 10? Just ran over and over and over again.

I doubt they need to. They know what he is at this point. At least we have a guy that can come in and hit 3s. He would likely be defended better than in previous stops since we don't have many shooters/scorers.

Last season Daniels scored 11 or more points on 18 occassions and only lost 3 (based on +/-).

I know its just preseason but Len and Jackson look pretty solid so far. I wasn't expecting anything from Len but hopefully he keeps this form up. His effort levels looked higher. Jackson being a rookie was a big question for me but he looks to not be bothered much by the speed of the game - competes on D and finds his spots where he can contribute on offense.
