He has shown a lot of promise and has the potential to be a great SG.

I mean if we wanted to keep Booker, would that warrant giving him a 4/$82M contract? Harris is their Booker.

I dont know any other young SG's that can average around 15-17 points a game on 50+% FG percentages. Like he is CRAZY EFFICIENT! Last month of the last season he was pulling off 15 points on 51% FG, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal and a half as a SG.

So yeah, he's pretty damn good, and with lesser players getting $20M+, i think its a pretty good deal for him.

Yes, he's really good. He shot over 50% from the field and 42% from 3. He has over a 2-1 ast/to ratio. He's probably one of the more underrated players in the league. He had a 121 ORtg. Booker's was 103.

Sucks we could have taken him instead of Tyler Ennis.

The Nuggets killed it that draft with Harris, Jokic and Nurkic.

I thought he was after Warren but you're right he was after Tyler. Crazy.

Good value for Garry Harris.

Man, makes you really think how much guards who can shoot are so in demand these days.

Prime Jason Terry and Jamal Crawford would be like looking at 25-30 million a year contract if they were under 27 years old looking for contracts today.

Damn, don't know about that contract. Good player, but 21 mil a year.. don't know about that.

Still can't believe TJ Warren's contract.

Suns trade:
-Our unprotected 2018 pick
-Chriss
-Miami pick

Suns get:
Myles Turner

Rebuild complete.

Bledsoe/Ulis
Booker/Daniels
TJ/Jr.
JJ/Bender
Turner/Len

Booker, JJ, and Turner could be legit superstars. TJ is the low maintenance 4th wheel. Bender, Len, and Ulis could very well be good rotation players.

PG's are a dime a dozen so if Bledsoe leaves, we'll find another.

Turner on this team would be sick! :o

I think that Indiana is trying their own rebuild, and i think its safe to say that they would pass on giving up Turner. If you can get a Turner in the draft, you dont trade him for another chance to hopefully maybe get another Turner. Its a bird in the hand.

A lot of these contracts are going to be hard to swallow for the next year or two.... then it will be business as usual. Don't know if I can hang on though.... NBA is losing its luster. And I doubt we become relevant for a least 2-3 years, if ever.

It's really sad because their is no parity in the NBA. I expect the Warriors will be top dog for the next six years which puts Durant and Curry in their mid-30's. At that point maybe a younger, up and coming team will be able to dethrone them. The only other hope is that the Warriors will be unable to afford Durant, Curry, Green, and Thompson and that core will be broken up. Of course those four may just be willing to take lower pay to win rings.

We are extremely lucky to have Josh Jackson I mean think about it.

1) SUNS ended up with the 2nd worst record in the league we should have got the 2nd pick but of course after the ping pong balls we end up with the 4th pick (thank god) Imagine we stayed with that 2nd pick a great chance Ryan McD selects Lonzo Ball (who I hate)

2) Then imagine if Boston never trades with Philly then what? Does philly pass on Josh Jackson with the 3rd pick i doubt it.

3) What happens if Josh Jackson never cancels that workout/meeting with Danny Ainge and the Celtics then select Josh Jackson.

Also a ton of other scenarios where we don't end up with our guy of course but those I listed were extremely close/highly likely of happening.

Bottom line what I'm trying to say is I'm SOOOOO HAPPY WE GOT JOSH JACKSON!!!!!!

Uhhh don't remind me.... :banghead:

I agree re Garry Harris. Dude is super underrated because he's on a Nuggets team which always seems to field a tough team (home court advantage perhaps?) but doesn't make enough noise to get a ton of media. I think he's certainly worth it based on projections.

Harris is a decent/good role player.
Hit his open shots, high motor/cutting everytime on O#, underrated athlete too.

It's not a good look for Nike in their first season as the official supplier. Made those jerseys look like toilet paper the way they ripped

Oh and talking about past Suns PG draft picks

Honestly, if we had the room, i'd give him another shot. He played great in Summer League. In the 3 pre-season games he played, he had on against Dallas where he racked up 10 assists in 16 minutes.

Bucks cut him due to the fact that they have 4 PG's already on guaranteed deals (6 if you include Antetokounmpo and Terry).

I particularly liked how he improved his defense. His shot is still shaky, but he defends well and is a great passer

Considering we're fairly shallow at the PG position, I wouldn't mind giving him a shot either. His defense isn't too bad now, has always been a good passer and I do like his size at his position. Few seasons ago with LA, he averaged an 8.8 assists in 29mpg with AST:TO ratio of 3:1. Those are close to elite numbers.

try as they do, the NBA office can't control the latest craze of 'team building' by the players. Thanks LaBron.

still, this team will be interesting to watch, and easy to cheer for. Especially with absolutely no expectations except for the hopes of seeing if we actually have some legitimate nba talent.

ps... sad to see Hawkins passed. met him at a car wash in phoenix one day long ago. nothing but class, so approachable and accommodating to all the fans there. I mean, he actually talked to you/everyone.
