We have tons of money to spend and high draft picks next offseason.

Now that we've got your guy as coach, i see you're finally looking on the bright side of things instead of praying for an immediate firing.

That said, Kyle Shanahan really ran Mosert over Hyde because Mosert at some point had the hot hand? Are you kidding me? Then Shanny on the final drives realizes his best skill player is warming the bench and finally asks him to get in the game...This loss is all on Kyle.

cause hyde tore it up when he did come in the game, the injury wasn't effecting him at all.

So you're moving the ball with Spree Brie, then when the game's on the line you put your injured RB back in...

Is that what you're saying Kyle Shanahan did?

Because I'm just confused about Mosert coming in the game for 3 or so plays, when Hyde is on the bench supposedly healthy enough to play on drives where the game's on the line.

Yes, He did what you wantedd him to do, put in an injured hyde. It didn't work out.

First it's "why didn't the moron play hyde", now it's "why did the moron play Hyde when it mattered".

Stop acting like Skip Bayless.

No, I'm questioning why Mostert came into the game. He didn't have the hot hand.

Malik Hooker would've killed 2 of those birds.

It keeps pissing me off how many guys are playing well that all would have filled needs and been better than what Thomas has been.

weren't those the same needs last off season? LOL

Yeah, we should of filled at least ONE of them with the #3 pick instead of taking Thomas who I have always thought was a luxury.

From what I've read, Bowman really struggled again this week in pass coverage so the team was giving him a spell on passing downs. A couple of beat writers commented that Bowman had no legs yesterday. Hyde wasn't effective yesterday either and Breida was playing well. Speculation is now running about whether these two will be back next year.

Bowman isn't the same but he's coming back from injury... even he must know that...

Hyde, Shanny say it wasn't hip related but idk.... have to look at his health.

Bowman has lost all of his speed and his lateral ability is almost non existent. He's got a long way to go. I'm not optimistic. I don't see him on the team next year unless he makes a gigantic improvement.

There were plenty of rumblings about Hyde prior to training camp but I think he bought himself a lot of goodwill with the new staff when he showed up in great shape.

With Bowman he's relying a lot on his experience and instincts to make plays but physically it's clear he's slow. Typically even when you've recovered from an Achilles tear it still takes time to get back to full speed so the question is if the current Bowman is as good as he gets or will he start regaining some of his old form in time.

And it's pretty clear Kyle and Lynch are taking a pretty long view when it comes to building a team and with Hyde and Bowman they might consider them not part of the long term plans and cutting ties and getting younger guys the reps might be what they want to do.
