Yeah, Aaron Jones looks legit. You don't need to see it over a full season with RB's. Some just have that vision and quick-cut ability. Williams doesn't. Jones does.

I still can't believe Damarious Randall gets an unsportsmanlike penalty a week after leaving the ****ing stadium before the game is over. On a tipped pass....win or not, dude does not get it.

Hey laddies! Had a long work day and am watching the replay BUT my early thoughts after series 1:

The refs continue to ruin this great game - wtf was that call on Martinez?!?

Martinez has made an incredible jump from year 1. He's a very competent MLB in this scheme.

Yeah! I wanna see that too.

Kinda want to see Beasley cry too. Idk why.

I didn't really pay attention to it the first time and thought it was because he did Dez Bryant's "X." Then I saw the replay and he kind of sideways chucked the ball at Prescott and hit him. Biggest idiot in the NFL right now.

Don't need a full season, but you need more than 1.5 games. I want to know he's not a fumbler, that he knows his pass-protection assignments, see him catch some passes, see him vs a D that game plans for him a bit and has tape on him.

I agree the pure running looks legit and that he looks better than Williams. Not saying he isn't legit. Just that it's too early to know too much.

Dak Prescott's QBR was 22.2 points higher than Rodgers' in this game, which pretty much says it all about that stat.

Even doing Bryant's X makes him look like an idiot. Especially since Bryant beat him for a TD earlier in the game. Not to mention if Williams actually catches that ball, Randall is looking at another missed tackle in the box score instead of a pick 6 on a play that even Ahmad Caroll could have made.

Not gonna let it prevent me from enjoying a Packer win but **** this guyyyyy :banghead:

He could drop the next 3 and I'd still believe he can catch the ball after that reception today.

On the cowboys second drive, there was also a badly missed holding call that cost Martinez a sack. It was blatant.

Lane Taylor is a hell of a find. Just wanted to re-iterate that one.

Can I say it again: my oh my is Martinez an ascending player. I'm tickled pink at his improvement.

I actually replayed this play and it looked like a hold but the offensive player let up - it looked like a hold but, really, Martinez let up and altered the play w/ the hit arm. Close call. As was the hit to Cobb on the sideline - BUT he was in-bounds and a flag was not deserved. NOW, however, that does not negate the absolute bogus personal foul on Martinez in the endzone.

Maybe like the league's wackiest most eccentric defensive coordinator.

I think there was an element of surprise going on today that maybe won't be there next time. Teams will prep for you differently if they know you have a threat at running back vs if they think you've got nothing there at all.
We'll see! I'm excited about Jones.

Am I being too hard on Jones? I feel like I'm being reasonable and everybody else is getting ahead of themselves after only one game. Oh well.

I could have phrased that better- "I want to see more of him and know what he's like in the passing game, which includes, but is not limited to, just his ability to catch the ball- how is he at screens? If we motion him out, can he run a good route? Does he understand the offense well enough to do some of these things or not yet?". Something more like that.

My whole point is that I want to see more before I evaluate him too much. That was a great catch though.

I feel like if you want to take your time on Jones, I'm totally fine with that. I'm not saying what he's going to be, but I'm totally comfortable at this point saying he looks like Gore so far.
