I did love Buck telling Aikman that DR's penalty was actually a benefit and he didn't have to mature....lol.

Since it doesn't seem to matter if GB is trying to stop a team from scoring or not...yeah, pretty much. The dismissiveness is amusing to me since, ya know, the actual outcome of the game bore all of this to be true.

I mean I know Madden is a game, but if I'm Dak there I lay at 1/2-1 yard line 10/10 times. They had 2-3 TO's and could try 3-4 sneaks/Elliott dives inside of 30 secs

Adams has some outstanding body control its becoming Joryesqe as he matures as a player.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

One thing that scared the **** out of me was that Rodgers run on 3rd down, if he gets tackled we couldn't clock it or get the FG team out in time......huge gamble....

Adams is special, his route running and agility are top 5% in the league. His body control and hands are top 5%, his leaping ability is top 5%, think he just proved his toughness as well, if he was a bit faster he would be a bigger Antonio Brown. I really didn't see it as a prospect much like Brown, but man has he worked on his art.

If Adams ran a faster 40-time at the combine, he probably would have been a 1st round pick. Heck, he probably would have been any other year regardless. That 2014 class was absolutely stacked with wideouts (Watkins, Evans, Beckham, Cooks, Benjamin, Lee, Matthews, and Richardson were all taken in the Top-50).

I think it's more nuanced than this. If the game is 13-10 I'd take the TD. In that game, I agree with you.

As a Packer fan were you happy when Dak scored, I think I cheered more then on Adams TD, my biggest fear was them running it in on 3rd or 4th from the 1 with 5-20 sec left on the clock.

I think Dallas scores a TD there with 4 tries from the 1 yard line 99/100 against our D at that stage of the game.

ARod with 1:13 left and a TO id say
FG 50/100
TD 30/100
no Points 20/100

I like those odds better.

False start, holding, fumble. Wilson, I mean Dak, getting cute and throwing it. Lots could go wrong. I don't think stopping short is the way to play it. But I'm not an NFL coach <shrug>

All of those things are far less likely than Rodgers getting a field goal against a bad defense with 73 seconds and a timeout. That's the crux of this.

NOBODY is saying it's a sure thing. You know what could go wrong if you score too soon? Exactly what did. Why is this getting so buried? Lol.

It's one thing to give Tyrod Taylor that chance. You don't give it to Rodgers.

This along with waiting 3 weeks to play Josh Jones should bring about serious questions with regards to how the coaches evaluate talent.

Waiting 3 whole weeks. Those fools.

And re Jones, lets maybe withhold passing judgement on him ( and on the coaches talent evaluation) until he's played more than 1.3 NFL games, don't you think?

Jones was put into the lineup due to Monty's injury. Not his sudden ability to grasp assignments or the playbook.

Huh?

My point about A Jones was that the sample size is too small to base any judgements about how good he is, thus it doesn't make any sense to make any further judgements about the coaches talent evaluation based on judgements about A Jones' 1.3 NFL games.

Or, are you saying they only brought A Jones in because Monty got hurt and otherwise they would never have played him (and thus they're stupid)? Because theres no proof thats true whatsoever.

Or did I misunderstand your point?

Randall pled ignorance when asked about the penalty.

“What happened after the play?” Randall said, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN. “I don’t think I had a penalty.”

When told that he did, Randall replied: “Yeah, I don’t think I got a penalty.”

When told he flipped the ball toward Prescott, he said: “Flip what?”

Fine. I'd rather he do this than talk, to be honest.

This is just asinine. This game was a microcosm of the EXACT argument I put forward all week. How you arrive at this conclusion is some Simone Biles-level mental gymnastics. They needed Rodgers pulling off miracles to cover up horrific defense.

Yeah, yesterday was a textbook example of what some of us are talking about.

You have arguably the best QB to ever step on a football field, playing some of the best football of his life, yet the Packers are still needing overtime and last second TDs to beat teams that aren't anything special.

If that isn't damming evidence that our defense is terrible I don't know what is.

We just need this Defense to be top 15, just average. If Rodgers can do what's he's been doing these past couple of games, all we need is a little bit of help with a 15th ranked D.

Just get a couple stops, force a couple punts or TOs and let Rodgers and Co do the rest.

Martinez is showing some hope in the run game, J Jones is showing some potential, King is showing some potential. A healthy Clay and Perry could help with some support from Brooks. Randall had an amazing pass defended on the free play but he's such a flake I don't know, I'm wondering if Hawkins can be a more steady player, he had a nice PD in the second half.

If some of these young players can continue to ascend: Martinez, Jones, King, Hawkins, and the veterans stay healthy, MAYBE we can hope this team will be better prepared come January. It's a lot to hope for, but there is some glimmer of hope.

Went to listen to Skip Bayless today on his take on the game, and it was hilarious. It was like tuning into Bears radio after a Bears loss. So delusional.

I listened to Bears radio this morning and was shocked. They agreed with me that Tribusky looked pretty bad overall.

I was scared as hell there....almost as scared as I was watching Cole Beasley run wide open down the middle of the field with 5 seconds left.
