Darvish is definitely dealing tonight, which is funny, because the Dodgers have apparently asked him to limit the amount of different pitches to choose from in order to be more effective. Nobody questions the stuff the guy has as he probably has the best in the bigs, but maybe his indecision on what pitches to use have actually contributed to his mental meltdowns in the past.

The Dodgers are forcing Greinke to adjust to our batting plan, not vice versa, so I think it's just a matter of time before we run him off the mound early and blow this game open. Still, I'm not going to take how dangerous the D-backs are for granted since they've shown a propensity to explode at any given at-bat.

As much as I hate that, I expected him to honker down and find a way to put 0s up in the midst of a high pitch count.

Cant have many more 1 pitch ABs like Taylor n Belly.

I love that we're constantly putting pressure on Greinke by getting runners on base every inning. That's exactly the game plan I wanted to implement with guys getting on base and going station-to-station, if necessary.

Forcing Arizona to go to the bullpen early not only gives us the advantage in this game, but tomorrow's as well should it come to that.
