Good thing Gobert isn't playing. I'd hate for this to be any uglier. Great stream too...the volume is randomly getting really loud at times. It's like a comedy of errors.

You know you're bad when they lost one of their best players, are sitting their other best player, and DPOY candidate, are not projected to make the playoffs, and you go on a 12-0 run and are still down 18.

Those boneheaded plays are because we lack discipline. We don't know what to do 85% of the time because it's either 1 or 2 set plays, or it's Booker/Warren/Bledsoe ISO. My local over-35's league runs more plays than these guys.

We run a play almost every single time we go down the court, it devolves into ISO almost every possession because they don't get anything out of the offense. Guys don't set hard screens, and the guys coming off screens don't set their guys up to be screened, so every single pass is pressured and way further from the basket than it should be. That's basic **** that half out players just don't do. I won't act like all of our plays are perfect, but nothing we run is unique. A lot of the time our players don't execute and make it look ****, which I think falls on both the players and the coaching.

Not to mention we have zero spacing to even run an offense. Just watch how teams defend Bender, Chriss, TJ, and Jackson off-ball when they're on the perimeter, they literally want us to pass to them because they can't shoot 3s at an average NBA level or won't shoot 3s at all. No one in the rotation can shoot the ball well besides Booker, Bledsoe, and Daniels. We really need Bender and Chriss to develop into above average shooters, and right now they're treated almost treated like non-shooters, and rightfully so.

That's entirely a coaching issue. We don't seem to have anything after 1 or 2 set plays which if it fails, and often it does because of aforementioned soft screens, and that usually just ends with Booker taking a tough shot which is either ugly or amazing. Our guys will make boneheaded plays when the team isn't in sync with each other and don't know what to do. The weak passes which get picked off, the drives into set up defense and the standing around are all from a lack of coaching direction. When things don't work, they don't have plays to at least get a decent shot off; it's just iso

How is it entirely coaching? The coaches are not the ones on the court. You can tell a guy to do something, but if they don't do it then they're at least in part to blame for not doing it. There's a shot clock, once you run through your offense and get nothing you're basically forced to ISO. This is what happens when you have a team of young, inexperienced players all playing together, insane amounts of turnovers and lack of attention to detail.

Our biggest coaching problem is the stupid ass way we defend pick and rolls. For some reason our scheme is to have the man defending the screener sinks all the way to the rim and gets themselves caught with 2 on 1 with a downhill ball handler and a rolling big man or leaving a wide open popping big on the perimeter. We definitely have plays that are bad and not suited to our personnel and our coaching is mediocre at best, but I just don't want people to think that replacing a coach is suddenly going to turn this team into a well-oiled machine on both ends. It's not, it's gonna take time.
