Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Are we sure that video isn't of Jabari in year 2 of the max deal we give him next summer?

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
For me (and I've actually watched tape on these guys especially Doncic because I'm a Madridista):
Tier 1:
#1: Doncic (Floor: Slightly better Nic Batum | Ceiling: Basically Larry Bird)
#2: Bamba (Floor: Crazy long Capela | Ceiling: Gobert who can shoot)
Tier 2:
#3: Bagley (Floor: A poor mans' Amar'e | Ceiling: A working-class mans' KG)
#4: MPJ (Floor: The SF/PF version of Andrew Wiggins| Ceiling: Healthy Blake Griffin)
Tier 3:
#5: Ayton (Floor: Total bust | Ceiling: Boogie)

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Zion isn't a 2018 prospect anyways, but consider me skeptical of him as an NBA prospect for now. He's obviously got the physical tools to be a good prospect, but that's pretty much all it is right now. He's a terrible shooter and doesn't try very hard in terms of rebounding or defending right now.

He looks like a Tight End. If he doesn't get taller he absolutely needs to lose some weight.

Or switch sports, he probably could be a good TE with that leaping ability.

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Doncic is who should go #1, MPJ will go number one. That’s my prediction

Only 3.8 assists? What's wrong with him!

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
If Doncic can even remotely keep this up, he's going to statistically blow everyone else in this draft class away when Pelton starts doing his projection stuff. I'm so incredibly impressed with what he's doing right now.

Bagley has expanded his game. It's going to be him.

Get me Bruce Brown, Mikal Bridges, or Isaac Bonga and I'll be happy.

Doncic is unreal. Reminds me of a young Antoine Walker without all the Antoine Walker personality stuff. Has some Lamar Odom in his game too. Can't believe he's 18.

There are some seriously talented bigs this year. Bagley, Ayton, and Bamba have all wowed me. Bamba's got to get stronger, but that length... and Ayton's got a near perfect NBA body along with raw skills... while Bagley's the most developed of them. I don't know which I'd pick now. It might come down to who shows they're the best rim protector.

I don't think Bagley offers the upside of the other bigs. I couldn't take him over Ayton or Bamba at this point. But we'll see.

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Miles Bridges looks like a really volatile prospect. Could see him go top 8, could also see him drop out of the lottery.

Can’t wait to see Ayton against real competition. He looks good.

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Jaren Jackson looks like a fun prospect. His shooting mechanics look a bit wonky but at 6'11 he's going to get his shot up. Nice blend of size, length, athleticism and shot blocking instincts to go with that too.
