Gobert is a poor mans Shaq when it comes to offense. Everything is close to the basket. However his foot work is getting better

Hes averaged double figure scoring numbers once in his career, a pedestrian 14 ppg. Take that trash poor man’s Shaq comparison back to the jazz board lmao.

Agreed, it's a trash comparison. Gobert can actually hit his FTs. 8-)

BTW, last year Rudy was the first player in NBA history to finish top 3 in both offensive and defensive efficiency, and finished #1 and #2 respectively.

Seriously though, I think the Lakers are going to be better than a lot of a people think this year. Not a playoff team, but not a bottom scraper either. As a Jazz/Ute fan, I'm extremely jealous that we traded with you to move up and didn't get Kuzma. I think he's going to be your bright spot this year more than Lonzo, and should definitely take the sting out of trading away D'Lo. I'll be rooting for you guys to keep that pick out of the Celtics hands. Other than when you're playing us, Good luck with your season.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

I can't begin to imagine how perfect Kuzma would have been at PF for the current Jazz so I can understand how much it would hurt. Should have picked him for the pick they traded to get Lyles.

Ball so hard wrote:Sh*** coaching toward the end. Luke should've called a timeout. Three straight ISO from Ingram and Kuzma.

Luke wanted to see how they play under pressure. Relax guys.........this is why we have pre-season games.

I hear ya. What you may be missing is that the jazz have focused their offense around gobert all preseason. He is the player creating gravity on the jazz. I think that makes him our 1st option.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Lol. I'm a Ute homer and I love Kuzma, but I'm more than happy to keep Mitchell. Utah did very well with their first pick. It's their 2nd pick that they traded up 2 spots when they shoulda traded up 3 that I'm gonna complain about.

I beg to differ this game is on BI. He kept trying to bully his way to the basket with 3 defenders in front of him and shooting the ball (and missing) with one defender on him. Not a lick of “reading the defense” on his part.
