FOOOOOOTTTTTBBBBBAAAALLLLLL.

I wish we'd go back to 2008 when we didn't make players come out for the national anthem, and before the pentagon started paying the NFL millions to push their propaganda. I never thought to myself "That was a good game, it's just too bad we didn't do the national anthem". I watched football for decades without thinking about the damn anthem. When they play it now all i think about is how horrible the singer is, and how i wish it would hurry up and end so i can enjoy some football.

I'm one of the weird people who genuinely loves politics, but I agree that football is better without it.

The national anthem used to be the time i used to drain my bladder before the game started.

How?

By boasting to Alabamans that he would fire those SOBS is a start. The crowd looked very white to me. He's white, they are people of color.

By that rationale, any criticism of NFL players done by white people is about race because it's white people talking about mostly black people. Skin colour doesn't make them immune to criticism, and that's what you seem to be implying by talking about "white nationalists" and white Alabamans. Black & Brown people can think they're a bunch of disrespectful attention w**res or worse (and a lot do).

This is ideological. It has nothing to do with race. White liberals are completely in the tank for what these players are doing, and black conservatives think they're "sons of b***hes."

Same here. Seems like the best solution to the problem. The NFL is losing money, the players are gonna lose money, everyone's annoyed, and people are talking about politics instead stats. Everything is upside down.
