Im probably Dejountes biggest supporter on this board and even i would require more coming back. The value just isnt there yet.

I don't think Spurs would do it.

I wanted Jok staying on the roster but he probably is not good enough.

Not surprised about Bennett, he probably goes to our team in the G-League.

Bennett just needs to go to Europe, dude isn't an NBA player.

He couldn't do it in Europe either.

Didn't even see that stat but it's troubling and it's only going to get harder for him as teams continue to pressure him and target him.

I think he was 12/50 combined from three, which is still obviously bad, but not sure where you got that 3/52 from

The issue that I had with him is that his passing is almost completely based on transition basketball. He has almost no game PnR game and his shot is very bad when not being taken form set places on the court.

While this years draft may have been thought to be one of the better ones for point guard I think that there is a good chance that none of the lottery point guards are going to make an impact.

Pre-season rookie numbers probably don't matter, Kendall Marshall is a 37% career 3 point shooter and don't think Ball can be that much worse.

Did he try Europe already? I haven't been paying attention to his career. Maybe China then?

I thought the Cavs were reaching when they took him #1 but I also thought he'd at least be able to be a role player. If you read his draft express profile, it's amazing he turned out to be so terrible.

We signed Len and Daniels since so Bennett and Jok were backstops just in case.

The 2016 draft was a really s***ty draft for us to have two top 10 picks in. Similar to the 2013 draft.

We'd probably be looking better had we kept our 13 and 27 and Bogdan and gotten Skal with that 27th pick and whoever we wanted at 13, though I haven't given up on Chriss in the least bit. But that would have probably given us better depth, and Skal is looking as good as Chriss alone, not even considering the 13th and Bogdan and the depth that could have added.

I agree with this purely on the basis of having Bogdan and Skal (assuming we go with him at #27 as well) gives us two players who are relatively more experienced and potentially more ready to contribute right away. Between Bender, Skal and Brogdan, we would only have one player who's relatively inexperienced.

What a draft at the top. Bennett waived by one of the worst teams in the draft. Len and Noel on qualifying offers. McLemore. I guess Porter at 3 and McCollum at 10 were good, and Dipo wasn't bad. Nor was Zeller at 4. Though of course the best two picks were at 15 and 27 with Giannis and Gobert.

Totally forgot Len was in the same draft. As I recall, McLemore was my guy in that draft

I wanted noel or macklemore. Not a good draft to have a high pick.

I thought McLemore had the most potential. I wanted him.

Len was honestly my second choice. I was worried about Noel's knees.

Never for a second thought Rudy or Giannis would be superstars. LOL. I was more pissed that we didn't get the Laker pick (Shabazz) and instead got Archie.

The draft is such a crapshoot.

I was all over McCollum. I wanted to trade back but no one was looking to trade up in that awful draft. He would have been a "reach at 5" but in retrospect it's clear that no one had that draft dialed in.

Stll too early to tell. We would look better NOW, cause mainly Bogdan is much more ready to play than any of our teenagers. Skal is just greener grass on the other side...lots of flaws if u look closely, I am sure.

Sure, but Skal has been shooting well, averaging 52% shooting overall, 40% from 3, along with rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Playing a lot of minutes as well. Without one bad game he'd be playing better. I don't necessarily think he will be better than Chriss. Chriss SHOULD be better having been drafted so much higher, but considering Bogdan and whoever else we may have gotten at 13, and/or could have taken Dejounte Murray at 27, it will be interesting to see how things play out.

Add to that Bogdanovic and that trade looks worse. Skal was the higher ratted HS recruit and it wasn't close.

I added Bogdan and the previous response to yours was mentioning Skal and Bogdan but no mention of whoever we would have taken at 13.
