Over/under on his 3P% this year?

I’d say he shoots at least 32% from 3.

The physical talent is off the charts, but did he allow D.J. Augustine, of all people, to drop 24 points on him in 24 minutes? I hope Yogi was guarding him and not Dennis.

Lol you said his shooting is real when he was shooting like 40%+ and said he was the PF version of Klay. 32% is a much more reasonable expectation.

Took 20 shots for his 26 points though

And was 50% shooting from the field as a guard.

Including 22% from 3.

And it's the great players that find ways to score/win when their shot isn't falling from outside. Not saying he's great right now, but he has looked pretty great this preseason/SL.

???

If you think his over/under is 32%, then shooting 40% wouldn't be a real expectation going forward.

I think in time he can shoot over 40% from three. I think within 3 years he can do that. I also think he has a good chance to being one of the 7 best players in this class. I think he scores at least 14ppg this season. He knows how to score.

Doubt there's much precedent for someone going from being a true 32% 3 point shooter to a 40% shooter in 3 years.

So glad Ainge's ego wouldn't allow him to draft a player that cancelled a workout on him. We made a positional decision, Boston has no excuse.

I gotta say, that shot, even though it's still looking crazy, is going in. And he's been hitting his FTs.

I get that people were worried about his maturity and concerned with the company he keeps. Also, the free throw shooting was jarring. But man, when there's a prospect that is likely to be an all-NBA defense player while being a 20 point scorer, you gotta take that guy #1.

With a lot of these rookies having a good summer and pre-season showing. Fultz, if he has any fire in him, has to be feeling the pressure to perform.

I think Embiid's aura presents a talent elevator effect. Fultz should be able to make strides once he gets on the court with him.

Agreed.

Embiid makes everything on offense and defense easier because he covers for mistakes on defense, and draws so much attention on offense.

I think Simmons will make things a lot easier on offense for other people, and make them more effective by putting pressure on defenders, and being such a willing passer. He will reward people for making the extra effort to get open.

fultz wants to go out there and drop 30 every night. i don't think you have to worry about his desire. when he sees reddick, saric, embiid dropping long range bombs in these preseason games, what do you think is going through his head while he's watcing from the sidelines? he wants to be part of that bomb brigade too.

Its not that surprising Josh Jackson is having a good pre-season, of the top prospects he was always the most ready just because of his age. The real test is what he will be five years from now. Donovan Mitchell is in the same basket.

I doubt it because Luke is going to give him a lot of minutes off the bench and the green light to shoot. Kuzma has first team all rookie team on lockdown. He's just too good and NBA ready.
