I had a friend that tried out with the Nets last week and told me LeVert was the team's best player. Very excited to watch him for you guys.

I'm excited to watch him play as well. Love what I've seen so far.

That first step against the Knicks, wow! And he seems to be using his bulk really well when he gets fraction in front, he won't be pushed to away from the hoop. If he wants to get to the rim, CLV is gonna be hard to stop.

Looks like another player. His condition has really improved. Looks like a beast.

Let's hope for a healthy season.

His dribble is so much faster and more fluid this season, with his added muscles and athleticism, he is really closing in on LBJ. Too bad he was injured in preseason, otherwise would have been even better, maybe some ups and downs in the beginning of the season.

Dude was a 40% 3pt shooter in college, let's start seeing it!

I'm extra high on LeVert cause I'm confident his shot will come around. He was too good in college. But really, we need to see it! Everything else is awesome.

Yeah, I'm super impressed with almost every minute I watch this guy play... but I feel like his shots don't fall as often as the rest of his game would indicate they should.

Honestly, I think he’s still struggling to adjust to the NBA three point line. Shooting 40% in college is like shooting a long two on an NBA Court.

He hit a lot of nasty threes last season but I wonder if he will translate to a Derozan-lite instead. Every part of his game looks good except long range shots which he’s usually short on the rim which is a sign of lack of arch.

Caris needs to improve his consistency on the threes and he needs to get quicker.

Yeah, been thinking the same.

Related to him getting quicker... I don't know if his first step could be that much better? It seems like it's already on a pretty elite level... do you mean like quicker to stay in front of guys on D?

His speed is not an issue, he doesn't have trouble getting past people. His jumpshot however, has looked flat. But off the dribble i don't see any problems.

Something about Levert's shooting form doesn't give me confidence. I feel like even RHJ's form on the midrange is more solid. Can't really articulate why though, maybe Levet has more of a push shot from the waist?

What's the most realistic ceiling for him?
Plus defender who can shoot 3's and put up 12-15ppg/5rpg/4apg?

Felt the same way about his shooting form when I first saw it..Looks like he's releasing the ball with 2 hands on the ball for too long...That's the one area he's going to have to work hard on if he wants to really be big...and I agree, RHJ mid-range form doesn't look as bad as his 3pt shot
