Yeah its preseason so bledsoe probably doesn't feel the need to jack up too many shots. I do wonder if the suns get off to a terrible start if he might mentally check out.

He's probably just rusty after sitting out the last month and not playing much in the summer like many of the young guys did. I liked what he brought outside of his shooting last night with 6 assists, 5 boards, 4 blocks and 2 steals. There is no real reason to think his scoring won't come in time.

It's easy for defenses to focus on his with our other two best scorers out.

If I remember correctly, he was pretty underwhelming in the preseason last year, too. And then he had the best season of his career. So I think he'll be fine.

We need to figure this out quickly. We also need to decide if Bledsoe wants to be on the team for the year knowing whats ahead. He will want to start winning soon. He will be losing his best years here if PHX is not careful. I suspect they are listening and chatting with Bledsoe about the options, to give him a chance to move on if he wants to. That could save the Jackson/Warren starter question as well. At least in my mind. I really want the Booker, Jackson, Warren lineup out there running the break. We just need to get Jackson to dramatically cut down on his TO's and use some better decision making on his passes. That is a long, dynamic, threesome. I'm not on board with trading Bledsoe, just saying that if his heads not in it we should take a closer look to be fair both to him and the teams future.

I feel like I'm missing something lately. Is he unhappy or something? Wanting out? It seems I've seen posts insinuating that but haven't read it anywhere other than a couple of mentions here sounding like they heard it elsewhere.

I'm also not sure who might want him. I thought maybe Denver before, but if they plan on starting Murray at point, especially since Jokic is a great passer, they might have no desire.

No, I've seen no rumors or reports, just trying to lean on the side of caution. It's all presumption on my part. I just think that due to his loyalty, he deserves to receive it in kind by way of understanding where his head is. The guy is loyal, but human also. He saw an opportunity to play with a good friend on a winning team evaporate (CLE deal). Now he is faced with another losing season with a bunch of raw players. That is likely to cause anyone to be introspective about where they are in their career.

Phoenix trades Eric Bledsoe to (maybe) the Nuggets

This should happen, even if Bledsoe is (if you wish really hard) young enough at 27 to still be good when the Phoenix kiddos are ready to win. How about Emmanuel Mudiay, Darrell Arthur (present for salary-matching), Juancho Hernangomez and an unprotected Denver first-round pick?

Who knows about the pick. Odds are pretty low of course. Juancho is going to be good but not an all-star. You aren't getting one for Bledsoe anyway if that's what you're thinking.

If we're not going to give Len an opportunity to start now, especially with Williams out and Chandler giving us nothing, then he's certainly not going to get an opportunity in the future. If we offer him a trade to a place that will use him, I think he signs off on it.
