that was a good read, until the #10 about granderson. I can't say I agree but I sure hope so with the way Dave is playing him.

Low Expectations Setup for Big Moment

I had a feeling that both Barnes and Forsythe would come up big in the postseason and I actually feel that Granderson will make a clutch play for us as well. I'm not saying he'll be consistently productive, but like Molly Knight, I think he'll come up with a key clutch hit or something. He has a reputation for coming up big in the playoffs, plus, I think teams will underestimate and relax pitching to him as a weak spot in the batting order.

Is he worth a regular spot in the lineup as a starter? Heck no, but I expect him to come up with at least 1 huge hit for us this postseason.

I hope when Jose Quintana is out of the game and we need to replace **** in the left field with a left handed batter, it is Ethier rather than Granderson in the cleanup spot.

I dunno man. I think I would take Dave Hansen over Granderson at this point.

Uncle Charlie for Contreras.

Good sign for Kershaw’s chances tonight.

Fantastic call by Barnes.

I think he has all 3 of his pitches tonight.

Glad we havent went away from the curve just because the 1st two were balls...one in the dirt...one inside.

Contreras looked silly there.

Kershaw's Command

Post#531 » by Ranma » Sun Oct 15, 2017 12:38 am

Turner has fielded 2 hard liners so far and it's only the top of the 2nd inning. I'm not sure how sharp Kershaw really is right now.

Nice out by Kershaw... Got a little worried with all the contact outs to that point.

Side arm Rich Hill revived fastball to K Javi.

He looked great that inning.
