Re: Around the NBA II
Good to see Westbrook stay in OKC, in general I like to see star players stay with their teams as long as they can. He is a special player and I'm happy that there won't be any talk about him signing with the Lakers.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I remember when LaDontae Henton was considering Penn State. Our old coach decided to leave and Henton chose Providence. I forgot that we invited him to camp.

I believe he's still expected to play on our G-League team unless he were signed by another team.

Kendrick Perkins To Retire?
Source: Hoops Hype
When a player transitions to coach, it technically means he's contemplating retirement. I'm iffy of Doc reuniting with a former Celtic, let alone one from his 2008 championship team, to be an assistant coach. Shouldn't that title be given to Kevin Garnett - he's the closest the Clippers have to an Ann Wolfe, and they need an Ann Wolfe imitation to stay competitive in a conference where the difference between a sweep at the hands of the Warriors and missing the playoffs completely is one game.
NBA should think about a Wild Card preliminary series so that we don't have hopefuls being shut down every year.
Jake Fisher wrote:“I’d love to coach when I finish playing one day,” Perkins said. “I know a lot of GMs that value my knowledge of the game. I would have a lot of options. I probably would call up Oklahoma City.”
Bryan Kalbrosky wrote:Other potential coaching destinations for Perkins include the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Clippers. The NBA veteran has previously said he would “run through the wall” for New Orleans head coach Alvin Gentry [...] Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has referred to him as “Coach Perkins” in the past.

I'm usually against Doc cronies joining the team, but I'd welcome Perkins as an assistant coach. I've actually been thinking about this for the past week or so. I like his reputation of being a team player willing to do what it takes to win and he's thought highly of as someone who can communicate those values to players.

Probably the last stop for Diamond. The Bulls very well could be the worst team in the league next year. If you can't make the worst team, your chances are slim to none to make any.

Bledsoe Wants Out!? A Chance At Retrification
1. If the Clippers bring Bledsoe back, it will prove that Doc Rivers made a huge mistake in trading for Redick. Yes, Redick was integral to the team's success during the Paul era, but it was the subsequent trades following Redick that is at play here. This will be seen as a Jerry West move to clean up the mess Doc made.
2. Trading for Bledsoe could tell us a bit about what will happen to Milos Teodosic, who got injured during the un-historic franchise moment for the Suns last night.

Re: Around the NBA II
Idk how it works honestly. If he made 7 mil we could just absorb his deal, but he doesn't. Plus we're trying to not get into the luxury tax. Maybe Austin and Wes? Idk. I just don't see us making a move for him.
