Basically he's starting a war with his GM, saying he drafted another bust.

I guarantee this season will be more entertaining than Game of thrones. As long as Embiid is healthy nothing else matters, but if he isn't anymore at some point, then all hell will break loose.

I highly doubt this is a decision Colangelo wasn't heavily involved in. It's not like BB and BC aren't talking on a daily basis.

I think people need to lower their expectations of Fultz. People want him to be some sort of franchise player. He’s not. I view Fultz as a solid second option on a good team. That’s not a franchise player. That’s not a scrub or average player either. I think Fultz has the tools to be a top 50 player in the leisure at some time. I don’t think he will ever be a top 25 player. I think his ceiling is somewhere between Kyrie and McCollum. But the most realistic scenario is probably about as good as McCollum. I’m at least hoping for that. If he can’t reach McCollum good then that’s bad for a number one pick.

And I don’t know why you’re blaming Brown. Blame Colangelo for trading up giving away a good asset to get him. Brown is doing the right thing by not rushing him. Why the rush to start him when he’s clearly not ready yet?

I want him to start because I think it is best for his long term development that he learns to play with Ben Simmons running the team.

If he comes off of the bench he will likely be on the ball a lot more and that isn’t going to be his long term role.

Now I would make an exception to this if his confidence was so shot that he needs to get his mojo back First. If that is the case, and the Sixers would know that, then it makes sense to me.

I hear you but that’s why I said bring Fultz off the bench to play with TJ. Fultz would still play off the ball with him. Get him used to playing off ball until he’s ready to play with Simmons if he is ever ready.

 Stop being dramatic. He's not shaming Fultz. The guy is 19. Boston isn't starting Tatum either. The Lakers didn't start Kobe as a rookie. Good teams, trying to win don't start 19 year old guards.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

But it's not an either/or situation. You don't have to start in order to be developed. Kobe didn't start, Harden didn't start and they became Hall of Famers. You're either great or you aren't. They can still develop Fultz and win some games. If anything, this saves Fultz from being clowned by Lowry, Wall and Kyrie for 30 minutes per game, until he's ready to compete.

For real. There’s no shame in Fultz not starting. It doesn’t be mean Fultz will be a bust. Plenty of lottery pick rookies don’t start. People are just going by number one pick. We have some talented players now. I think this move helps Fultz in the long run. He will know he doesn’t have to be the man and can just fit in. It’s a process. You have to trust it. If Fultz progresses and is good enough to start by January then great. If not that’s fine too if he is contributing in a positive way off the bench.

You can obviously develop from the bench, but unless it is for pure confidence’s sake, I don’t want him running the second unit as the point guard.

Doesn’t matter though. They will figure it out. He is a very young kid.

As long as he plays well, I don’t care.

He’s only played 111 minutes in both Summer League (64.5) and Preseason combined (47). Probably should familiarize himself more.

Fultz absolutely should not be in the starting 5 to start the year. Let him come along at a pace Brown is comfortable with... there's no need. The Process will survive

I just went to the Celtics board. Most of them are trashing Fultz lol. When they got the top pick and it looked like they were taking Fultz you couldn’t tell them anything about Fultz. They all mainly said he was the best prospect. Now they are trashing them lol. They are a strange bunch.

Did we know he was going to change his shot? That was his greatest strength and why he was supposed to be the perfect “fit” for the 76ers.
Bet with Stillwater Celtics will finish 6th or higher in ECF Standings Regular Season(17-18). [WON]

It was happening before as well. It was quite instantaneous.

Much like Colangelo, the guys posting on their board evidently didn't have access to Pac-10 network. Too busy reading Mike Schmitz's 12th grade scouting reports.

In addition every fan base overvalue their prospects/assets
I remember Sixers fans coming onto the Celtics forum saying OK4 was worth 2 BRK picks just a year ago.
Value of assets can change quick.
