Don't need a multifaceted board like Knicks/Raps and Lakers board but we don't have to be so one-dimensional either. Enjoyed Wizards board political thread awhile ago, don't know if it's still there but thought it was cool. Gustapo can shoot this down if it's too much

That chit in Catalonia is getting crazy man. They're like two steps away from full blown civil war right now. EU government is definitely not helping matters by taking sides instead of staying neutral.

Yea' after all that's already happened a healthy resolve seems non-existent. After the supposed referendum vote it's hard to believe that they're truly split on this issue but hard to argue with the chaos. Vids from polls are wild too

I hope that statement by Gen. McCaffey is taken out of context and just more hysteria on MSNBC. Problem with all these news organizations (on both sides) is I don't know whether they're serious or they're sensationalizing, it's all getting blended in as the same thing. So I just tune it out and do my own research.

That's why I like sports. Regardless of what happens around the sport, everyone is on the same page that the point is to win the game.

News has been slip of the tongue with the Trump circus but this one's my fault. So many sources on Twitter rehashing the same point I didn't take the time to link out a credible source. Tweet misspells his name and misquotes him :noway:

All i read was one sided. All Liberal. Thats why i dont see the news on tv, i only get it from the internet.
People who dont like it hear can leave. Thats what my family did when they left an actual tyrannical regime in Cuba.

The president is stocking the courts with a class of brilliant young textualists bearing little relation to even their Reagan or Bush predecessors. Mr. Trump’s nastygrams to Bob Corker will be a distant memory next week. Notre Dame law professor Amy Coney Barrett’s influence on the Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals could still be going strong 40 years from now.

Mr. Trump has now nominated nearly 60 judges, filling more vacancies than Barack Obama did in his entire first year. There are another 160 court openings, allowing Mr. Trump to flip or further consolidate conservative majorities on the circuit courts that have the final say on 99% of federal legal disputes.

This project is the work of Mr. Trump, White House Counsel Don McGahn and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Every new president cares about the judiciary, but no administration in memory has approached appointments with more purpose than this team.

I'm just confused, why does Hilary Clinton matter in current politics? For the record I thought she was a piss poor candidate, but she seems to be out of politics right now. Constantly going back to bring up how much she sucks doesn't take away from what the current administration is doing or validate trump as a better alternative. In fact it's just a classic case of strawman arguments.
