Only one Celtic never made either first or second team all-NBA, but made third-team all-NBA.

Who was he?

(Hint, third team all-NBA only began in 1988-89.)

1) name two Celtics players who had their number retired, but during Celtics years they wore another uniform number in some years, for example: number 40 retired, but wore number 42 also...
2) who are the only two players listed as PF/C who scored more then 5 3fg in a single game for Celtics, for exaple Antoine Walker was listed SF/PF so he don't count
3) I was on Celtics roster for 6 seasons. After i signed as free agent i had 5 double-doubles in my first 10 games as a Celtics. And then i add only 5 double-doubles till the end of my career. Who i'm i?

1 - Al Jefferson, Antoine Walker, Jayson Tatum, and Xavier McDaniel

2 Kevin McHale, Rasheed Wallace, bill Walton, Kevin garnet
3 Derek strong

1- You missed "number retired" part...so no
2- Rasheed Wallace is one of two
3- No

Ok to get semi serious ...
1. Shaq? Dominique? Does it have to be retired with the Celtics? Loscy wore 18 I think not "loscy" which isn't even a number. Otherwise no idea.

2. Raef LaFrentz is the only one that makes sense.

3. What FA played 6 years for us?? Dana Barros pts/assists? Kevin Gamble wouldn't have 10 Reb or assists. Scal never had a hot start. Pervis wouldn't approach those numbers. Greg Minor or Mark Blount didn't last 6 years. I'll go with Dana. Great questions

Four Celtics never made first, second or third-team all-NBA while playing for the Celtics, but they did make the first or second all-Defensive team.

Who were they?

1. I know KC Jones wore 25 and 27, and his 25 is retired.

2. Kelly Olynyk?

for first-team all-NBA, you got 7 out of 8. The one you got wrong, Cowens, only made second-team all-NBA, even in the year he won MVP!

for the second team all-NBA your got 5 out of 8, plus one of them belongs with the first-teamers. Cowens goes here and that gives you six out of 8. Rondo and Allen do not belong in either.

89 suggests Ainge. Still think that was a ridiculous trade. Season is lost to injury anyway so trade your best young star for backups? That's like if we traded Rondo for Joe Smith when KG got hurt.

Rondo makes sense here too tho

Jim and John were not twins. Jim was 6-6 and born in 1957. John was 6-1 and born, I believe, in 1960. Jim was a first round pick of Portland in 1979 and John I think a first rounder in 1983, but I may have John wrong. Maybe John was drafted by San Antonio? Not sure about that.

Whoops. I keep making that error. Thanks.

How many 3-pters in a game did Amir peak at? I'm guessing it was 3. My guess for McHale would be 2. I agree that Raef and Sheed are the obvious guesses for 5+.

We had nine first teamers, there was little known center Ed Sadowski, in 1947/48 season and Ed Macauley...and of course Cousy, Sharman, Russell, Havlicek, Bird, McHale and Garnett

And as a second teamers, we had : Heinsohn, S. Jones, Cowens, White, Archibald, Parish, Pierce and Thomas

I believe Amir goes in second or third game of last season vs Bulls 4/4.
My bet for McHale is 3

And yes, Raef and Sheed are correct answers to my previous question

1) Yes, it must be retired by Celtics. Its KC Jones (retired #25, wore also #27) and Cedric Maxwell (retired #31, wore also #30)

2) Bingo

3) Believe it or not...its Pervis Ellison
