KINGS vs. ROCKETS - First Game of the Year!

Post#1 » by anish23 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 9:11 am

Rockets will be on a back-to-back after facing the Champs, so hopefully, we can get on their throat early and make some noise.

BTW, VC fan here from when he entered the league, let's have a great year and shock some people!

GO KINGS! :D
Utah Jazz for Championship :)

Welcome aboard, life preservers at at the front and rear!

The problem with teams like the Rockets is they eat up on Dave Joergers defensive system. Strugging in PnR and letting teams shoot from 3 because you are solely focused on shutting down the lane can have explosive effects against teams like the Warriors and Rockets. Hopefully that offense is running hot and the Rox are running on E.

We'll lose by 20 or more.

Is George Hill going to be ready to go or is Fox getting the keys straight away?

I think I read somewhere that Hill's injury wasn't bad and he should be playing come opening night. I'd bet he'll start.

Man I wish the Kings were trending towards a switch defensive team like the Rockets. I don't think you can go anywhere right now without it. They supposedly drafted Willie because of his potential there, but no coach, not even Karl has committed to it.

We should get whooped tonight. But it's cool as long as I get to see the young guys play and put up some points, show some things I'm alright with it.

Hey last night I read in the sac bee where Vlade was quoted in saying he thinks Justin Jackson has won the starting job at small forward. Anybody heard any news on this?

Already in mid-season form!

But for real, I think we all know what to expect this season relative to season's past. Not a lot success that will show up on the standings, but that's not what it's about this season. We're laying the foundation, which isn't flashy, but absolutely necessary for a strong house.

My body is ready.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Rockets are on a b2b.

So, there is a chance?

I didn't, but it would make sense considering he's the only one close to being a legit SF on the whole team.

If they are totally off on the wide open 3's they'll be getting, then yes, there is a chance.

I’m just glad we don’t have to watch ZBo chase Ryan Anderson off the 3 point line LOL...although I was hoping to see our full squad. I’m excited to see the vets out there too (I may be the minority there) and obviously the young guys.

Ouch, there goes the most stabilizing force offensively. Skal will have his hands full with Luc.

Here you go. Vlade shares his opinion on every Kings player.
