Mirotic was taken to the hospital Tuesday after their shoving altercation during practice ended with an alleged cheap shot from Portis to Mirotic’s face, league sources told The Vertical. Mirotic is undergoing tests, but is expected to be out for the foreseeable future, league sources said.

I know I'm speaking in the moment and letting emotion take over, but if it really was a cheap shot from Portis that was bad enough to send Niko to the hospital and miss significant time, I think I'd like him off the team.

I suppose a lot depends on what led up to that moment, but you just can't have that kind of garbage around a young, rebuilding team. I do reserve the right to update my position after hearing more of the story.

Really disappointing to hear this.

Bobby Portis is a bad player and clearly an idiot. Suspend him at a minimum, release him from his deal more appropriately.

How is this possible? All I've heard all summer is what a positive environment GarPax and Fred have created and how the young guys are working so hard and everyone has bought in? I know GarPax wouldn't lie to me...
