If a certain rookie draft pick had a game like this. People would be trying to take their victory lap. That's none of my business though

Crowder is trying to go after everyone.

from reading the general board, i heard crowder undercut hayward while hayward was still in the air, which made hayward land awkwardly. messed up

Naw, thats GB bull. Lebron made a play on the ball at the apex of both players jumping. GH came down at a bad angle and his leg got caught behind him. Crowder might have grazed him but it was incidental contact.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Man, neither of these teams want to see Embiid in a 7 game series. These are some suspect frontcourts.

Was about to say the same thing. I've seen swiss cheese with less holes than Boston's defense.

Anything skill based and it's hard to watch Jaylen. Simple moves and simple reads he can look good though.

And you don't need to ish ill will on the Celtics, they'll find a way to lose and choke like they always do without the ill will. No matter who is on the roster. If you don't like them just bide your time until they choke and then rag on them.

Unless they cheat of course, which is how their city ever "wins" anything. They adopted cheating like a religion out there.

The Pats cheat. But the Red Sox, Bruins, and Celts have all won in the past decade without cheating far as I can tell.

To Gordon Hayward: thoughts and prayers go out man, I legit screamed and grabbed my foot in sympathy pain watching that video. I then rewinded it just to make sure I saw what I thought I saw, and then screamed again.

But as far as feeling bad in general or “being the bigger man”... why are we turning the other cheek just to get hit again? Declaring open season on Boston is a legitimate avenue IMO. Lord knows if it was (when it is?) Fultz that was out the Boston board would be very smugly vocal with their self-congratulatory posts regarding trading down.

Manny and Ortiz were pumping themselves up with roids and HGH by the tank load.

Fair enough, but so was everyone in MLB from approx 1990 - 2010. If everyone cheats then it’s no longer cheating. Like the NBA tampering rules.

Impressed with Brown - not just his play but his mentality - taking over the scoring duties because Celtics short-handed.

To Jaylen's credit, at least he can finish at the rim. Stanley is like Isaiah Canaan in the paint.

Maybe you’re right. I read it the other way on the Chicago board, but who knows.

Korver is a corpse out there. Can't play an actual lick of defense.

Overall you have to say he looks outmatched though - it will take him a while to pick up the pace of the NBA - would be especially hard given the talent he's up against in this game, high pressure, everyone's watching. Its not like playing the Nets mid-season in the middle of the week. Tatum also doesn't have plus athleticism to fall back on - its most obvious defensively - he's not the first rookie taken high in a draft and looked out of his depth in his debut.

oh yeah he was mad shook early on and still might be...he has a lot of junk in his game that he needs to get rid of because it simply doesn't work on this level...consistently. But thats legit every rookie tho.

i mean the kid is facing LeBron James and a Pissed of Crowder on national TV after his teammate's leg damn near exploded. shiiiiieeeet
