where is the offensive structure? stop giving your guards free reign to chuck. Instill the right habits early and coach out the bad ones,

That would require a real coach, unfortunately all we have is Earl.

Granted Bender hasn't really gone up against a good big in Nurkic yet in this game

he seems like the type of "player's coach" who just lets the ballhandlers do whatever they want. No accountability, no structure.

also, every Blazers' shot is right at the rim. no resistance at all on the perimeter

If Bledsoe is going to take shots like this all year, we need to trade him. I dont like when Booker does it, but at least he is our future.

Also I love Josh yelling at the refs to call a foul. Welcome to the desert Josh. We have no water and no foul calls.

I think Watson tells people to shoot when they are wide open, but I think sometimes people misinterpret that thought as "even if I am 35 ft away and there are 15 seconds left on the shot clock, I will take this because no one is on me yet".

Bender still only 19 years old. If nothing else he has the potential to be a great 3-D player. Not shooting the 3 ball well yet, but seems to have good form so they should fall eventually.

1-10 from 3 is the difference.

Daniels and Booker will get hot at some stage.

Bledsoe thinks he's Curry in this game so far.. Booker think's he's Harden.... what happened to setting team mates up.

Pretty much, and his plays all consist of everyone standing around the 3 point line and letting Bledsoe go wild.

He's our Mark Jackson. Hopefully we'll find our Steve Kerr.

He's not ready to go against tough physical centers yet. I mean he might look good in flashes, but he still is best served not to play C unless the other team is playing small ball.

Agree with everyone about Earl not having any control of the team. Coaching is the problem. I see potential with this group. With a great coach this team (with more young stars like Bagley or Ayton) could be something in 3-4 years.

I've been seeing different plays, but they almost always end up in the guard taking a bad shot from it.

Seems like a mix of lack of play variety and bad shot selection not being discouraged. Also when plays break, everyone just stands around. Gotta have structure/actions in place when that inevitably happens across a game

Hopefully if Watson doesn't say anything, Jackson says "Why the hell are you guys taking 30 footers while guarded with 15 seconds left on the clock?" He seems unafraid to ask such questions.

Even if Jackson isn't always making all the right moves, at least he makes the move quickly rather than stall the ball movement.

And then when a guy like Lillard or Curry hit from real deep, it compels our guards to try it.
