Usually I **** on him but I was bowing to Fournier. We probably blow the game without him at the end.

Vuc was good relative to what were used to. Must have tired out Whiteside from letting him get so many rebounds.

EP played a nice quiet floor game. I really hate that he can't hit free throws still. But it's a long season.

AG looked a little frustrated after going nuts on the one play where he kept jacking up shots. But he played well and I liked how he was blocking shots in the first qtr.

In nearly every game, unless it's a legit blowout, the other team will make a run and get close or even take a lead. Good teams know how to respond and bad teams fold. Previous years we would have folded. We aren't a good team yet, but learning how to respond to 4th quarter runs is huge. Evan stepping up and helping us get this win is absolutely a big step for this team. They need to keep building on it.

Elf had a really underrated performance tonight. We don't win this game if he's not out there orchestrating the offense like he did. Not only that though, this was one of the best games defensively I've ever seen from Elf. He was making playing in the passing lanes all night with 3 steals and was giving Dragic problems.

Really loved what I saw from him on that end. He said the number one thing he worked on this summer was his defense and it showed tonight. He can take his game to the next level if he can play defense like that consistently at a high level.

Evan gets it for clutch shots. If someone had had a HUGE night, like if Vuc had gone for 35 pts or something, then maybe that player would get it instead. But it was a good all around team effort, so Evan gets it for clutchness.

Interesting seeing Fournier running away with this as his numbers were good, not great.

But Fournier and Ross did hold back Waiters and Richardson, and that was a key as much as any other stat.

Interesting argument. Vuc got his numbers but wasnt great either. And he didnt hold back Whiteside, who went for 26/22.

10 pts 4/5 fg was on Biyombo's watch... happened within a few minutes, too. Vuc held him to 16 pts 7/13 fg over the rest of the game. Whiteside was not having that good of a game until Vogel let him eat against our bench in the 4th. Whiteside let Vuc score 19 pts on 12 shots... that's great for him.

Whiteside is a beast not many centers can stop him especially on the board hence the reason he is one the top rebounders in the league . Having said that , the fact that Vuc is our best defensive and offensive center is not good at switching which If biz could just catch the ball it would help us out cause biz is at least decent at switching

I feel we got a big lead despite Evans poor play, but he did save us in the end. I can get behind voting for him because it was an extremely balanced effort and no one really sticks out as the best, so since he made the biggest shots he can have the first vest.

wasn't Biz getting worked by whiteside?
He actually isn't very good at hedging attacking guards either. At least he wasn't last season. Imo he can make defensive plays but overrated as an overall defender. He's going to have to do a lot for me to change my perception. Vuc is hands down the better player.

Fournier today, but every player played well. Would've voted for Ross before the run. Didn't want them to come back but glad Fournier stopped the bleeding.

Funny while reading the Heat game thread, they were greatly impressed at Fourniers game. Called him "White Jordan!" Heres hoping Fournier continues to show that improvement.
