I didn't put any words in your mouth. I just pointed out all your excuuuuuuuuuuuse making and hot take extrapolations of who will win the championship based on one game. If that's the case then we know the overall favorite Warriors are in trouble.

I'm just joking around. Although you did say i loved the celts when that's obviously not true. I'm still waiting on Spud to find where i said the Cs would beat the Cavs this year. He's doing some deep research i guess.

Thank goodness we'll have games to talk about in a few hours. Because who cares about the Cs, Cavs, or Warriors. That's yesterday's news. Although the Cs could use an athletic wing with a good attitude amirite? And I have just the guy!

Just messin with ya bro...we all fam from squawk...no putting words or anything else in ur mouth ;-) I guess you said that the Celts made the "right" move and the NBA Gods disagreed on opening night no less with the loss of Hayward and an L vs the Cavs. It's a long season and Boston is going to look good a lot of nights as well, but will they in the playoffs when it counts?

So Gordon Hayward is the difference between the Celts being just a young team and a team challenging the Cavs for the East? Not buying the chemistry argument which was your main claim with the Cavs because the old guys are in brand new roles and brand new guys are in their old roles plus LeBron barely practiced or played with any of them in the past month then of course, there's a Kyrie sized talent deficit from the previous year. They are nowhere close to the best Cav's team we've seen yet still started with a 7-0 run and and ended with a 7-1 run.

I hate the Celts and the Cavs. The Celtics won't be challenging the Cavs seriously this year in the East. Unfortunately no one will. The Celtics, even with Hayward, aren't nearly as good as the Cavs. Or they shouldn't be. But if I'm the Cavs I'm still concerned that Kyrie/Brown/Smart/Tatum/Horford nearly beat Rose/Wade/Crowder/Lebron/Love in the 1st game. I mean at what position outside of PG should the Celtics have an advantage there? This is without even comparing the benches and the C's bench sucks bad.

But it's one game. Doesn't mean anything and as you said there were a lot of outside factors at play. To be honest i'm just shocked it was close.

You had me at .."I hate the Celts and the Cavs"...

Spurs are looking good even without Kawhi. Coach Pop and his squad seem to age like a fine wine.

Al 0-2

Hope Jeffrey doesn’t get hold of the tape of Mark Jackson repping for him while he sat in that 4th quarter. Can’t have the Wolves having any locker room issue this season.

Gregg Popovich Takes Blame For Trying To Change LaMarcus Aldridge

"I did talk with him several times during the summer. He just didn't feel comfortable," said Popovich. "It's 98.75 percent on me, and whatever's left - because I can't subtract that much - on him. But I tried to change him. I thought back to when Timmy [Duncan] came, and people said, ‘What are you going to do with Tim Duncan?' I said, ‘Nothing. I'm just going to watch him for about six months, see what he does. He's a pretty good player, and if there's something I think I can add, then I'll do it.' With LaMarcus, he got here and on Day 1, I said, ‘OK, you're going to do this, and you're going to do this pump fake.' I tried to change him. I tried to make him a different player, and I think that really affected his ability to feel comfortable and confident on the court. And we took care of that, basically by me letting him know that we were going to do it differently, and that it was on me, not him."

Teague 0-1 and got benched in the 4th - what's new.

Teague next to Jimmy - this was my concern, that Jimmy would be running point and not Teague. When that happens it'll be the Jimmy show to the detriment of KAT.
@Sothron - what are your thought on Minny?

Soth is blaming the reflection of the Hawks volt colors for the losses of the Wolves and Nuggets...lol.

The Wolves host an underrated Synder and the Jazz tonight..no easy win there...the Nuggets host the Kings tomorrow and I'm expecting a Nuggets win.

Ps What do y'all think about Sap's new flat top? I don't love it to be honest. It's takes the lunch pail attitude away a tad ;-) Still love Paul and probably always will..Can't hate class :-)

Are flat tops back?

It seems like just the other day Josh Smith was clowning Mike Woodson was for rocking that out dated hair style. Man...Time flies, and what is old will eventually be cool again.
