I was hoping to get ya'lls take on Sabonis? I am freaking loving everything I've seen from him so far since he joined the Pacers. I know its a small sample size, but thats one reason I wanted to ask ya'll what you think of him.

Was he mostly shooting jumpers last year? I can't believe he was at 40% for the year. He has been very physical for us throughout the preseason and tonight.

Stood at the three point line mostly. Clearly wasn't strong enough for the NBA game, but everybody here saw enough flashes to really like him and feel optimistic about his future.

Oh wow, thats definitely changed. All throughout preseason and then again tonight he's been in the post physically moving people out of the way with his strength.

Sabonis hit all 7 field goal attempts none more than `12 feet from the basket, had 7 boards ( 3 offense) finished with 16 points 7 rebounds in just 19 minutes. Oladipo got into foul trouble only played 26 minutes, but finished with 22 points 5 boards, 4 assist and 4 steals.

Huge PG13 fan but under the circumstances he put the Pacers in I don't think Oladipo and Sabonis was quite as bad a trade as most thought it was at the time.

Appears Pacers are using Sabonis in a role more suited for his talents than the Thunder did last season, without Kanter and Adams, here in Indy , he has room to play inside playing off the bench he is the only big the Pacers play with the second unit. As the season goes along you could well see the 21 yr old Sabonis and 21 yr old Myles Turner playing on the court together as the Pacers rebuild.

Yeah I kinda think they got 2 solid nonstars, which isn't bad.

Yup, flashes and has a great head for the game. He was shoehorned into a role that didn't really fit him. Indy's a much, much better fit.

Yeah they kinda shoehorned him into a role he wasn't fit for in OKC. I really think he's going to be solid. I keep saying a Nick Collison type but maybe with a little more range, smart and a little physical.

Sabonis will be a solid 4 in today's game. He showed signs of being a solid starter/role player for years to come. He struggled with fouling as most rookies do. IT he held his own enough down there. He will only get stronger and the game will slow down for him.
Oladipo dissapointed me when he was in OKC however. Thought he might be flirting with an all star selection by now but he just seemed too inconsistent last year. Playing with Russ on his quest for a season long trip dub would of been hard though. His defense was always strong which will always keep him valueable, just maybe not 21 mil a year valueable.
Pacers did what they had to do. OKC may end up with nothing after this season so it won't look too silly by the Pacers GM in the near future.
Where was the defense in that game though?! 271 points scored in that game?! Crazy

The announcers are all over ball's balls. He's literally done nothing.

His shot is jacked. Hard to believe that pg wants to play with that over Russ.

Lakers need to use Ingram to dump Deng before people realize he sucks.

The more we play well and the more the Lakers suck, makes me confident we will keep PG for at least another year or two.

It’s ok. Daddy is there to defend Lonzo. What an embarrassment.
